Despite running as a Democrat in a strongly Republican district, Adame has the sort of military past that is appreciated in these parts. “I am a retired United States Marine,” he tells me. “I’m a Vietnam veteran. I spent nine months in Kuwait right after we kicked Saddam out, helping to rebuild the Kuwaiti air force. I spent four years in Egypt with Kaman Aerospace”—a military contractor—”as their logistics leader in that country.” More recently, he spent three years in Iraq working on reconstruction projects, ultimately rising to a senior position with the State Department’s National Coordination Team in Baghdad, where he oversaw the work of roughly ten Provincial Reconstruction Teams. Two of his sons have served in the U.S. Army in Iraq—one was seriously wounded in an IED attack and is still undergoing reconstructive surgeries; the other is currently on his second 15-month tour, stationed in Tikrit.Yet Adame’s recent public criticism of the private security industry’s role in Iraq has caused him to become the target of a political attack from Blackwater. It all began in mid-January when Adame participated in a live question-and-answer forum on a North Carolina progressive blog called BlueNC. “People were writing in, and I was answering the questions,” he says. “It just so happened that the first one was about Blackwater.” He didn’t mince words. “There is no place in the American force structure, or in American culture for mercenaries,” he wrote on the blog. “They are guns for hire; No more, no less… Private Armies represent the very things we despise as a people. Servants to the highest bidder with true allegiance to no-one.”Adame has been on the receiving end of “some pretty rough stuff,” he says. “I received all kinds of hate mail from Blackwater people. They use a lot of vulgarity. They tell me how Blackwater is defending America’s rights, and that we’re free because Blackwater is fighting for us. Give me a break! That is so erroneous and misleading. It’s just totally dishonest, but those people really believe it. Blackwater is a large organization, and they have a great way of propagandizing their product.”
For its part, Blackwater is unrepentant for the harsh words Adame has received from its employees. “Mr. Mathews regrets that he wrote an inappropriate email in haste,” says Blackwater spokeswoman Anne Tyrrell in a statement. “He does not regret for one moment his desire to defend the brave people who risk their lives every day working for Blackwater.” Tyrrell says Adame “used inaccuracies to unfairly criticize the company” and notes that “one thing that should be taken away from Mr. Matthew’s email is that our people are incredibly proud of and passionate about the work we do in support of the U.S. government.”
Adame, who plans to hold a campaign event near Blackwater’s Moyock headquarters next month, is quick to point out that he has received no threats of physical harm from Blackwater, and despite some obscene emails, has engaged in constructive conversations with some of its employees. “These people don’t want to lose their jobs, and I understand that,” he says. Indeed, looming larger than the issue of military contracting in his district is concern over domestic priorities like health care and jobs. Still, Adame’s recent confrontation with Blackwater seems to have focused his attention on the company. “I feel very strongly about how extensively organized Blackwater has become,” he explains. “And I will do everything I can as a congressman to look into that, to find out whether or not the things they’re doing are even legal.”

AN investigation into the illicit sale of American nuclear secrets was compromised by a senior official in the State Department, a former FBI employee has claimed.

The Lone Protester stood up and protested a contractor (who had hired him for previous roofing work) -LP bid on a copper roofing job - which this contractor gave to an illegal alien roofing crew.
The police arrested the Lone Protester without reading him his rights.
ICE never checked the residency status of the illegals on the roof working - they were free - but the Lone Protester was arrested for hollering “cheap bastard” and spent the night in jail.
He asked for a jury trial. Instead, the court system, twice, has tried to make him plead guilty.
He would not plead guilty and tomorrow, Wed, Jan 23rd, he is finally getting his trial….we hope!

Strangely enough I met a sheriff’s deputy yesterday from Columbia, SC and had a long talk with him about my case and illegal aliens in our justice system. He is in and out of the court rooms with his cases all the time and has even appeared before the judges I have been in front of in my numerous appearances before our flaunted criminal justice system. He said something that is very striking to me. He said that the usual process in cases dealing with illegal aliens is to try them for the crimes they are charged with, and then on the question of their legality the judge simply asks them if they have jobs and pay taxes and if they say yes then they are given a free pass. There is no question asked like are they paying those taxes with fake social security numbers or did they have fake ID’s or any other crimes that you or I would be slammed for.
He asked me about my case and I explained things from my viewpoint. He was very surprised that I had been arrested and charged and put in jail. And even more surprised that I requested a jury trial. He suggested that I throw myself onto the mercy of the court, explain exactly why I called someone a bad word and hope for the best. But I am too hardheaded. I am in the right and the law is supposed to be on my side. At one time in this nation’s history the justice system would have come down hard on the criminals that are employing illegal aliens and running small companies like mine out of business. Trades and businesses that we have spent our lives at. It was tradesmen like us that built this country into what it is now and not people that sneak across our borders like a thieves in the night. It was businesses like mine that made the Liberty ships, the aircraft carriers, the World Trade Center, computers, Apollo rockets, the Hoover Dam and about a hundred million other things and not illegal aliens. America is what it is because of Americans and not illegal aliens.
Just this past Saturday a news article came out with a quote from an illegal alien in the construction industry in Columbia. Ignacio, whom they are interviewing says that the illegals do all the construction work but don’t get any appreciation from us. Ignacio says that he works hard, sunup to sundown, 6 days a week, makes only 400 dollars per week and nobody likes him. Well, boo freaking hoo my man, be grateful you got that, and be grateful that you are not an American in the construction industry these days. Like me for instance, this past week, instead of working sunup to sundown and daylight to dark I didn’t work one damn day, thanks to you! And I made a grand total of 300 dollars this week for work I did last week. No, this week I had to sit on my ass every day, and go out driving around and look for some jobs that you and your compadres haven’t stolen like the one where you make 400 dollars a week at. And the thing is I didn’t find any. Nowhere in that article by the way are there quotes from any South Carolina small businessmen. Only the people that everybody is supposed to feel sorry for. The people that aren’t supposed to be here in the first place. Nobody is interested in hearing the stories of tens of thousands of South Carolinians being displaced from their jobs and businesses. All the articles I read in my local newspapers are about the plight of criminal lawbreakers and their employers and not the ones like me.
So Friday is the big day, the day I am to be tried for standing up for my rights as an American citizen and businessman, the day I might be going to jail for 60 days for calling someone a word that is in every dictionary. Trades and businesses that we have spent our lives at. It was tradesmen like us that built this country into what it is now and not people that sneak across our borders like a thieves in the night. It was businesses like mine that made the Liberty ships, the aircraft carriers, the WorldTradeCenter, computers, Apollo rockets, the Hoover Dam and about a hundred million other things and not illegal aliens. America is what it is because of Americans and not illegal aliens.
Just this past Saturday a news article came out with a quote from an illegal alien in the construction industry in Columbia. Read it herehttp://www.guardian.co.uk/uselections08/story/0,,2242803,00.html. The reporters writing it do not have a clue in the subject they are discussing. Ignacio, whom they are interviewing says that the illegals do all the construction work but don’t get any appreciation from us. Ignacio says that he works hard, sunup to sundown, 6 days a week, makes only 400 dollars per week and nobody likes him. Well, boo freaking hoo my man, be grateful you got that, and be grateful that you are not an American in the construction industry these days. Like me for instance, this past week, instead of working sunup to sundown and daylight to dark I didn’t work one damn day, thanks to you! And I made a grand total of 300 dollars this week for work I did last week. No, this week I had to sit on my ass every day, and go out driving around and look for some jobs that you and your compadres haven’t stolen like the one where you make 400 dollars a week at. And the thing is I didn’t find any. Nowhere in that article by the way are there quotes from any South Carolina small businessmen. Only the people that everybody is supposed to feel sorry for. The people that aren’t supposed to be here in the first place. Nobody is interested in hearing the stories of tens of thousands of South Carolinians being displaced from their jobs and businesses. All the articles I read in my local newspapers are about the plight of criminal lawbreakers and their employers and not the ones like me.
So Wednesday is the big day, the day I am to be tried for standing up for my rights as an American citizen and businessman, the day I might be going to jail for 60 days for calling someone a word that is in every dictionary. The day my business might finally go under. Come and see our criminal justice system at its finest in its prosecution of me. Everyone is welcome.

Cemex will not allow any of its locations to bid on any construction project which relates to border security on the Arizona/Mexico border !!
Could this practice be a result of pressure from a Mexican government doing its best to ensure the easiest possible access for millions of illegal aliens streaming across the border into Arizona?
Could it be the influence of the Gulf Drug Cartel, which is also based in Monterrey, Mexico? Certainly they have the money, power, and incentive to interfere with our efforts to secure the border.

YUMA, Ariz. — A Border Patrol agent trying to stop a vehicle that had illegally entered the U.S. was struck and killed Saturday in southeastern California, agency officials said.
The agent was killed about 20 miles west of Yuma in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area, a spot along the border that is popular with off-road vehicle enthusiasts and frequently used by smugglers.
The agent attempted to impede the vehicle’s progress before he was hit, but the Border Patrol did not immediately have more information, said agent Eric Anderson, a spokesman for the agency’s Yuma sector.
The name of the agent killed was not immediately released because his family had not been notified.
Witnesses told the Yuma Sun newspaper that agents were chasing a Hummer and a Ford pickup on Interstate 8 when the vehicles turned into the dunes and fled toward Mexico. The agent was trying to place spike strips in their path and was struck by the Hummer, they said.
“Mexican authorities are using every means at their disposal to arrest the people responsible” for the slaying, said a statement released Saturday night by Mexico’s Foreign Relations department.
The Imperial Sand Dunes are the largest dunes in California, extending north of the border for 40 miles and averaging five miles wide.

Rather, they speak only in their own best interests, favoring the mass immigration that gives them more constituents they can then profess to represent. Polls show that Hispanic-Americans, like all Americans, support stronger enforcement of our immigration laws.
Arizona Senator John McCain is running for President (again). He has been courting various conservative leaders in his quest to secure the Republican nomination. McCain wants voters to believe that he is a conservative… but his record would certainly suggest otherwise.
Take, for instance, his record on gun rights and political speech affecting Second Amendment activists. Abysmal, wretched, and pathetic are words that come to mind.
Prepare before any declaration of martial law by becoming self reliant. You may become subject to a bureaucratic system and be prepared to stay one step ahead of it which is easy to do if you are prepared and in a position to be self reliant. You may also face mob rule, chaos, panic, or a complete breakdown in law and order. Surival situations may be easier to handle in rural areas than urban.
Avoid areas of marital law. Can be imposed due to natural disasters or man caused events. Important to have a retreat or place in a rural area away from populated areas.
Create alliances with like minded neighbors or community members that share your views. Team work and numbers may help your situation.
Become transparent in the sense that you do not draw attention to yourself or your family. For instance, do not tell people that you are storing food just store food. Be prepared to render assistance to neighbors if need be. You never know when you will need them.
Remain calm! Do not panic.
Avoid areas of civil unrest if possible. If caught in civil unrest take appropriate action.
Get informed and stay informed. Understand martial law can be a temporary crisis or an extended one. In extreme cases the shape of a whole nation can change.
Declaration of martial law means your rights are suspended and it is government by decree. Your constitutional rights may no longer apply. This could mean a state of National Emergency.
People can be arrested and imprisoned indefinitely without charges.
Freedom of speech and freedom of assembly can be suspended, and censorship of the media imposed.
Gun ownership will also come under severe attack during marital law. We could see house to house searches by the military or National Guard looking for guns and seizing any they find along with stored food.
Take a stand on issues and make a choice that fits your beliefs and the situation. Do you believe as Patrick Henry, “Give me liberty or give me death?” Realize you may have some hard choices to make. Understand you may have to sacrifice your principles on trivial matters or take a hard stand. Always remember that you may have to come back and fight another day.

U.S. MILITARY CIVIL DISTURBANCE PLANNING: THE WAR AT HOME! By Frank Morales
Under the heading of “civil disturbance planning”,
the U.S. military is training troops and police to suppress democratic opposition in America. The master plan, Department of Defense Civil Disturbance Plan 55-2, is code-named, “Operation Garden Plot”. Originated in 1968, the “operational plan” has been updated over the last three decades, most recently in 1991. The plan was activated during the Los Angeles “riots” of 1992, and more than likely during the recent anti-WTO “Battle in Seattle.”
Current U.S. military preparations for suppressing domestic civil disturbance, including the training of National Guard troops and police, are part of a long history of American “internal security” measures dating back to the first American Revolution. Generally, these measures have sought to thwart the aims of social justice movements, embodying the concept that within the civilian body politic lurks an enemy that one day the military might have to fight, or at least be ordered to fight.
Equipped with flexible “military operations in urban terrain” and “operations other than war” doctrine, lethal and “less-than-lethal” high-tech weaponry, US “armed forces” and “elite” militarized police units are being trained to eradicate “disorder”, “disturbance” and “civil disobedience” in America. Further, it may very well be that police/military “civil disturbance” planning is the animating force and the overarching logic behind the incredible nationwide growth of police paramilitary units, a growth which coincidentally mirrors rising levels of police violence directed at the American people, particularly “non-white” poor and working people.
