Soon after that, they started macing people in the face, trying to get them off, but that did little, as the masses regrouped once again. At that point, the police took out their tear gas guns and started shooting into the crowd, something they haven´t used since 1949, or for 60 years..people were then starting to throw big rocks at the police and a few were injured, both protesters and police.

A new bill has been introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives called the National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645. This bill if passed into law will direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish national emergency centers otherwise known as FEMA camp facilities on military installations. This is an incredibly disturbing piece of legislation considering that the powers that be have already set in motion an agenda to setup a nationwide marital law apparatus through U.S. Northern Command and the Department of Homeland Security. Apparently, the fusion centers, militarized police, surveillance cameras and a domestic military command is not enough. Even though we already know that detention facilities are already in place, they now want to legalize the construction of FEMA camps on military installations using the ever popular excuse that the facilities are for the purposes of a national emergency. With the phony debt based economy getting worse and worse by the day, the possibility of civil unrest is becoming a greater threat to the establishment. One need only look at Iceland, Greece and other nations for what might happen in the United States next. With this in mind, it appears as if these so called national emergency centers will be used in a national emergency but only if the national emergency requires large groups of people to be rounded up and detained. In an advance copy received by World Net Daily, it appears that the President’s new administration is going to try a bold new approach regarding the nation’s youths. President Obama’s staff is furiously working to finish the first draft of a new youth program, which would rival the traditional boy scouts.

Known as the “America Scouts,” these programs would be announced on March 1 of this year and the program would begin building a skeleton during the summer. On August 4, or Obama’s 48th birthday, the program would begin accepting children between the ages of 4 and 18.

While the exact specifications of the program are either secret or yet to be established, it is believed that there will be three classes of scouts.

“Liberty” scouts for children betweeen 4-8.

“Patriot” scouts for those between 8-12 and

“Constitution” scouts for those up to 18.

It is yet unknown if these “Constitution Scouts” would then move up to President Obama’s planned civilian reserve force.

What was made clear by contacts in the Administration is that portions of the White House believe that the Boy Scouts are too old and sedentary. In addition, their ties with religion are undesirable to the new Administration. A fresh start would focus these new scouts on the government, especially in these times of change.

As long as the program is passed by Congress, the America Scouts will be officially run by the federal government, but would be administered by each of the 50 states. The President would have the power to appoint a Scout Commissioner for an 8-year term.

Costs for the America Scouts have not been determined. However, it appears that the program could cost up to $2 billion a year. In order to make up for the costs, parents will be encouraged to contribute and special “reeducation” projects such as “Social Responsibility” will be paid for directly by the federal government.

Moments before he was killed, Oscar Grant was punched in the face — but not by the BART officer who shot him.

The grainy video raises new questions about what role BART officers played in escalating the scene, which began when Grant was pulled off a San Fransisco Bay Area Rapid Transit Authority train on New Year’s Day. Six days letter, protests turned to riots in Oakland, Ca.

The officer who punched Grant in the face is the same officer who investigators say had his knee on Grant’s neck when the 22-year-old man was shot. Aside from Mehserle, no BART officers have been charged with wrongdoings.

“There’s no question in my mind that that’s vivid powerful evidence that he committed a vicious physical assualt, unprovoked on a citizen, for absolutely no reason,” said UC Hastings and Golden Gate law professor Peter Keane, who believes the officer should be fired and charged with assault. “That punch was totally unjustified… That officer is committing a crime.”

BART General Manager Dorothy Dugger has pledged to investigate the officer’s actions in the new video.

“I take this new allegation of police use of unreasonable force extremely seriously,” Dugger said in a prepared statement released Saturday night, KTVU.com reported. “I have directed (BART) Police Chief Gary Gee to conduct a rigorous internal affairs investigation into this officer’s actions.”

U.C. Berkeley law school professor Franklin Zimring said the district attorney must charge another BART officer with a crime. “If the district attorney is saying he’s not going to charge any officer except Mehserle in my opinion, he’s not doing his job,” Zimring says in the video below. “Police officers are not…immunized from the normal laws that govern when assault is criminal conduct.”

Alameda County District Attorney Tom Orloff would not comment on the possibility of charging a second BART police officer, KTVU.com reported.

Although unmentioned in the KTVU report, the video could potentially incriminate another BART officer. Since the female officer is shown in the video observing her colleague punching Grant, she would have been required to report what she saw to authorities.

Pastor Dave was giving Nathaniel Partee, 47, a ride to a scheduled appointment at a detox center, a place that would help Nathaniel stay off of his addiction. A short distance on route, he stopped at a Burger King to get something to eat for the both of them. He went through the drive-through. While waiting for their fish sandwiches in a parking space close to the building, Pastor Dave saw two teen boys skating in the parking lot. Thinking about the event that was just a little over a day away, Pastor Dave called out the window, “Hey kids, come here.” He wanted to tell them about Jesus and invite them to the event. The boys, one thirteen-and-a-half, the other turning fourteen that month, did not go over to the truck. They instead called the police. TAMPA - If an officer asks if you need help on Super Bowl Sunday, he might be more than just gracious.

For the first time, the Transportation Security Administration’s “Behavior Detection Officers” are enhancing security at the championship event by watching people for combination’s of suspicious behavior.

“They’re trained to do exactly that – pick people out of a crowd,” Gary Milano, federal security director for the TSA’s Tampa office, said today.

These officers don’t have the power to arrest but are uniformed behavioral experts, Milano said.

The TSA and the U.S. Secret Service trained about 70 Tampa police officers and Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputies working the event in their techniques. Milano described them as “telltale signs of people about to engage in wrongdoing” based on the Israeli security system.

Each behavior, such as profuse sweating, could be innocent on its own but raises eyebrows when coupled with other behaviors, Milano said. He declined to elaborate.

The officers evaluate the behaviors on a point system and approach a person for a chat to determine whether there’s a need for concern, said Tampa police Maj. John Bennett, who was familiar with the TSA program and invited the agency to participate.

“Legally, you can walk up and just have a conversation,” Bennett said, noting that the officers aim to keep the contact friendly.

Bennett said he asked for the TSA’s help about a month ago, after he realized the “secure footprint” around the venue was similar to the security at a port or airport. “If you’re inside the secure footprint, you either have a credential or a ticket,” he said.

Bennett added that he had visited previous Super Bowls looking for ways to mirror or improve upon security. After a man was found armed with a rifle last year in a parking lot near the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, he saw the need for this layer of expertise.

“Our mission is to make a safe event,” Bennett said. “If we can ask a few more questions … that’s reasonable.”

ARLINGTON, Wash. – Senator Maria Cantwell’s office is looking into the case of an elderly Arlington man who has been behind bars in Mexico for two weeks.

His family says Ed Chrisman and his grandson are falsely accused of pornography charges, and now Chrisman’s health is fading.

“You wake up in the middle of the night and you feel guilty for being in a nice warm bed, you feel guilty for eating even,” said Don Chrisman, Ed’s son.

The Chrisman family of Arlington has been tied up in an anxious waiting game – waiting for 88-year-old Ed Chrisman to get out of a Mexican prison.

“You kind of feel numb. You don’t want to get too excited, you don’t want to get down,” said Keith Chrisman, Ed’s grandson.

Ed Chrisman was visiting family in Arizona when on January 8 he crossed into Algodones, Mexico so his grandson Gary could get inexpensive dental work.

But both men were arrested and moved to a federal prison in Mexicali.

The family says the trouble started when grandfather and grandson stopped at a convenience store.

“He wanted to stop and get a soda. He went in there and there were a couple young girls working,” explained Don Chrisman.

The family says Gary Chrisman who had been taking souvenir photos during the trip offered the girls’ mother $25 to take a photo of them, and she agreed.

The two men left the store and were arrested soon after. They are accused of pornography even though both girls were fully dressed.

Don Chrisman says the charges are bogus.

“He grows enough food for everyone in the neighborhood. And he takes it to the local church and the whole church thinks he’s the grandpa of the church. He’s a great person,” he said.

Relatives in Arizona have seen the deplorable conditions behind bars in Mexico. Chrisman’s wife of 63 years just passed away, so the family worries what all of this is doing to his morale and his health.

“He’s just ailing fast. He can’t keep up. He’s 89. He’s not sleeping, he’s sleeping on a metal bed frame,” said Tracy Short, granddaughter.

“We’re obviously worried about my cousin, but my grandfather is probably our greatest worry right now, just to make sure he has his health and can survive this thing,” said Ed Chrisman.

The two are locked up in the Carcel de Mexicali in the state of Baja California Norte.

There has been an outpouring of support for Ed Chrisman and his family from his church and community.

Group sees ‘global governance’ as solution

Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama’s pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for “global governance” and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

By Thursday, Mrs. Browner’s name and biography had been removed from Socialist International’s Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group’s congress in Greece was still available.

Socialist International, an umbrella group for many of the world’s social democratic political parties such as Britain’s Labor Party, says it supports socialism and is harshly critical of U.S. policies.

The group’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society, the organization’s action arm on climate change, says the developed world must reduce consumption and commit to binding and punitive limits on greenhouse gas emissions.

Mr. Obama, who has said action on climate change would be a priority in his administration, tapped Mrs. Browner last month to fill a new position as White House coordinator of climate and energy policies. The appointment does not need Senate confirmation.

Mr. Obama’s transition team said Mrs. Browner’s membership in the organization is not a problem and that it brings experience in U.S. policymaking to her new role.

“The Commission for a Sustainable World Society includes world leaders from a variety of political parties, including British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who succeeded Tony Blair, in serving as vice president of the convening organization,” Obama transition spokesman Nick Shapiro said. Read More

In light of the Second Amendment, the absence of well-regulated state militias is unconstitutional.

In light of the “faithfully execute” clause of the Constitution, the President’s failure to faithfully execute the immigration and naturalization laws is unconstitutional.

In light of the “natural born citizen” clause of the Constitution, it is unconstitutional for Mr. Obama to assume the office of President of the United States, no matter the number of people who voted for him.

In light of the spirit and intent of the Constitution, it is unconstitutional for the Government to conduct elections that do not rely on paper ballots that are hand-marked and hand-counted with results announced and posted at each polling place.

In light of the First Amendment, Government officials are obligated to respond to the People’s Petitions for Redress of Grievances/violations of the Constitution.

When a long train of abuses, usurpation’s and refusals to respond to Petitions for Redress of violations of the Constitution evinces a conspiracy to transition our Constitutional Republic to a pure democracy, or to otherwise strip us of our Liberties and reduce us to serfdom under absolute despotism, it is the right of the People to alter the Government, pro-actively, non-violently and with critical mass.

Since 1995, we have repeatedly and respectfully Petitioned the Government for Redress of these violations of the Constitution. Our Petitions for Redress have been answered only by a conspiracy of silence and repeated injuries. The Government has refused to justify its behavior or be held accountable.

The record is so clear and unambiguous that it leaves no room for questioning it or grasping the full import of its consequences: The servants have taken over the house that our Creator built.

But security officials vigilant for ‘X factor’

WASHINGTON — As the multitudes arrive for the historic inauguration of Barack Obama, the most high-tech security bubble ever created is in place to protect the incoming president from any foreseeable act of God, nature or man.

But authorities say they still dread the “X factor”—intangibles that they cannot control and that could upend their most carefully laid plans by panicking the immense crowd.

At the top of that list, they say, is the lone-wolf individual or small group that could slip through the security net. A burst of gunfire or an explosion, they know, could cause significant numbers of casualties or pandemonium.

The chance of that is considered extremely low. U.S. law-enforcement and intelligence officials say they have seen nothing to suggest the president-elect or his inauguration is being targeted.

Still, they say, no one can know for sure. And the inauguration of the nation’s first black president, coming in the first White House transition since the Sept. 11 attacks and just weeks after the terrorist strike in Mumbai, poses special concerns, U.S. law-enforcement and security officials say. Warnings and predictions of future national destruction have been coming from many sources in recent years. There are even those who now make a profession of such warnings. As the years pass by, however, and no such events occur, most Americans have placed consideration of these predictions on the back burner so as to devote their main energies to more immediate and personal concerns. This is certainly understandable since the time predicted for many of these events to mature has come and gone without major obvious catastrophe. However, we should not become complacent. Those processes that concerned Dr. Clymer and other knowledgeable individuals are continuing to move ever forward even if they have not come to the “kindling point” as rapidly as many anticipated.
The fuel for this national conflagration is now in place and only lacks the proper spark to ignite it into a destroying, but cleansing, fire.

Russian Military Intelligence reports circulating in the Kremlin today state that an attempt to shoot down an American passenger plane over New York City carrying some of the top officials from the United States largest bank, and largest financial services company in the World, Bank of America, failed when the pilot quickly reacted to his crippled and burning aircraft by landing it in the Hudson river extinguishing the spreading flames and saving the lives of all aboard.

Quoting some of the direct statements from passengers on the attacked aircraft (including Jeff Kolodjay who stated “I heard a loud explosion from the left side of the plane [and] the smell of gas was strong.”, and Dave Sanderson who also stated “I heard an explosion and saw some flames coming from the left wing.”) the FSB additions to these reports state that ‘without a doubt’ the missile used to attack this US aircraft was a Russian made Igla-S man-portable air-defense system manufactured at the Degtyarev factory in the city of Kovrov due to its ‘unique frequency signature’ recorded by [listening devices] located at Russia’s UN Mission offices in New York City and orbiting satellites.

It has long been known by Russian Intelligence Analysts that the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has been in possession of 50 Igla-S missiles stolen from Russia by the British MI6 terrorist spy ring run by their agent Hemant Lakhani, and who in 2003, while being pursued by FSB commandos was ‘rescued’ by CIA forces and brought to the United States where he remains today.

It should be noted that the United States has stated that Hemant Lakhani was ‘convicted’ by their Federal Court and sentenced to 47 years in prison for his arming of terrorists with stolen Russian weapons, but to this date, FSB requests to have this verified, and to actually see and interrogate Lakhani, have been denied by US Intelligence Officials. Likewise, repeated Russian requests to have the stolen Igla-S missiles returned have been denied as the Americans have stated that they are still being used as ‘evidence’.

To the reason behind this attack upon some of the most powerful bankers in the United States, these reports continue, was to further the collapse of the American economy by ‘assassinating by plane crash’ Bank of Americas top officials who were returning to their home base in North Carolina after negotiating a $138 Billion US government bailout, and which would ‘totally destroyed’ the stock value of Americas largest bank plunging the US into further financial chaos.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Red light cameras are supposed to keep our street safer, but Eyewitness News learned they make mistakes and you could get a ticket you don’t deserve.

Orlando is one of only a few cities in Central Florida that fines red light runners $125 every time they’re caught on camera, but those cameras aren’t always accurate.

RAW INTERVIEW: Woman Describes Being Wrongly Ticketed

Letters on license tags are getting confused, especially when they involve similar letters like “O,” “D,” and “Q.”

One woman contacted Eyewitness News and said she doesn’t typically drive through the Conroy Road-Vineland Road intersection, but the city of Orlando believes she ran a red light there. The woman argues photos on the ticket prove it wasn’t her.

Theresa Tharp says she was at home sleeping in her bed during the early morning hours of Christmas Eve. So you can imagine her surprise when she received a ticket for running a red light at 3:30am on December 24.

“It literally freaked me out,” she told Eyewitness News. “I was afraid. You can literally be accused of something you never thought of doing.”

The city of Orlando used a photo taken by a red light camera and traced it back to Tharp’s car. Tharp’s attorney believes the system is flawed. If it can happened to his client, then he believes other innocent drivers are also being accused of running red lights.

“There is some mistake. License plate photo is not clear. They thought an ‘O’ was a ‘Q’ or thought an ‘O’ was a ‘D.’ But nonetheless, they charged her without looking,” attorney Dennis Salvagio said.

The photo they sent her of the license tag shows a sedan, but Tharp drives a much smaller Smart Car ForTwo. Eyewitness News tried to track down similar plates, but couldn’t figure out the correct tag number that belongs to the car that actually ran the red light.

“The plate is blurry. They need to make sure the plate they are reading is the correct plate for that vehicle picture because my vehicle’s description is different than that,” Tharp said.

Right now, there is no state law that allows cities to fine drivers caught on camera running red lights, but cities are getting away with it by calling it a “code violation” and not taking points off driver’s licenses.

Apopka, Orlando and Palm Bay already fine drivers. Orange County, Titusville and Winter Park are all working on plans to fine drivers.

The NYPD whom you quite probably have seen on television have lobbied successfully to propose a municipal law “to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to permits for biological, chemical and radiological detectors.” The Council Members proposing it are Vallone Jr., Addabbo Jr., Comrie, Fidler, Gentile, Nelson, Recchia Jr., Stewart and White Jr. (by request of the Mayor). You might have seen him on telly too, in fact you might have seen his telly station, his name is Bloomberg.

Their argument is that allowing the general public to use geiger counters & other bio- chem- or general WMD detectors may, will, does or perhaps did cause PANIC. They don’t like panic. They like orderly queues & heroic administrations who chose to HQ their emergency services on a 23rd floor of a building leased by a party donor slap bang next to the World Trade Centre despite that bit of Manhatten being considered a “target” & the idiocy of clambering up 23 floors of stairs in a power outage.

Geiger Counters are not the only useful thing covered by the proposed legislation. Air quality equipment which would allow concerned neurotic hypochondriac woody allen on asthma inhaler types to identify toxic micro-particles are also to be “closely supervised”. Of course that type of equipment in private hands led people to all sorts of “asbestos fallout” on indymedia NYC by september 13 & then before you knew it Fire Fighters were suing. They don’t like people suing.

Last Mayor Guliani who quit the Republican Presidential nomination race this week as a heroic loser didn’t like fire fighters pointing out his heroics were utter crap built on the lives of emergency services who deserved proper management & preparation.

The EOC, meant to be the city’s main command-and-control center in the case of a terrorist attack or other major disaster, opened in 1999 in 7 World Trade Center, directly across the street from the Twin Towers. It was on the 23rd floor, and effectively required working elevators to access. The huge, state-of-the-art, $13m center was evacuated at 9:30am on the morning of September 11, and reduced to rubble when 7 WTC collapsed late that afternoon. It took several hours for the mayor and his emergency management staff to set up a makeshift command center further away from Ground Zero.
At the time of the EOC’s construction, the mayor had been challenged by members of the City Council because of its high cost - $1.4m a year, payable to Larry Silverstein, the billionaire developer who was a major Giuliani campaign contributor. Many others had questioned its location. A site across the river in downtown Brooklyn was suggested by the mayor’s own Emergency Management chief, Jerry Hauer, who said it was “not as visible a target as buildings in Lower Manhattan.” (In recent TV talkshow wars on the subject, Giuliani has blamed Hauer for the choice of 7 WTC - but Hauer says Giuliani insisted on a location he could walk to from City Hall……….”

According to the local Los Angeles newspaper, The Daily Breeze, California Congresswoman, Jane Harman, a blue dog conservative democrat, is up for a high level intelligence position in the Obama administration. The positions being considered are Director of National Intelligence, and Secretary of Homeland Security. If this speculation becomes fact, and Harman is appointed overseer of the freedoms of the American people, the people’s freedoms are toast. Conservative Democrat Harman consistently legislates AGAINST participatory democracy and against personal freedom.

The most egregious example of Harman’s disregard for participatory democracy is HR 1955 - the “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007″ - a frightening bill she slipped in the House for passage just over a year ago. HR 1955 is so anti-dissent, so anti-freedom and so McCarthy-like in its establishment of citizen review Commissions its Senate clone, S 1959, which luckily has not yet come up for vote. Unfortunately, Mrs. Harman was so covert when sneaking in “1955″ that no citizens could lobby to stop it.

“On October 23rd [2007], Congress voted to stifle Americans’ right to dissent when it passed House Resolution 1955, the “Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007,” sponsored by California Congresswoman, Jane Harman. In sanctioning the ambiguous definitions for “homeland terrorism” contained in this bill, Congress equated American participatory democracy to American “homegrown terror.” The First Amendment is under assault:

H.R. 1955 DEFINITIONS:

(1) COMMISSION - The term ‘Commission’ means the National Commission on the Prevention of Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism established under section 899C.

(2) VIOLENT RADICALIZATION - The term ‘violent radicalization’ means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically based violence to advance political, religious, or social change.

(3) HOMEGROWN TERRORISM - The term ‘homegrown terrorism’ means the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.

(4) IDEOLOGICALLY BASED VIOLENCE - The term ‘ideologically based violence’ means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual’s political, religious, or social beliefs.

Despite the ambiguity of the language in H.R. 1955, it still passed the House by an overwhelming 404 to 6 - rammed through by Jane Harman, under the guise of deterring another American mass murderer like Timothy McVeigh.”

There is ample proof Jane Harman intentionally slid this undemocratic legislation past her Congressional colleagues to conceal from them how extreme an assault on freedom it would be. According to her colleague, Henry Waxman, Harman’s bill had been placed on the “suspension calendar for non-controversial bills.” In other words, Mrs. Harman casually slipped in a bill that could declare ANYONE in America a terrorist based on the vaguest definitions and then she just asked everyone to sign on..
