Eight students were treated for chemical burns — and four of them were hospitalized — after a 15-year-old boy blew up a plastic bottle filled with a cleaning chemical at J.O. Combs Middle School in the Queen Creek area, sheriff’s deputies said.

Three of the four students who were transported to a nearby hospital were walking to class when the device exploded at 8:01 a.m. on the basketball court at the school, 37611 N. Pecan Creek Drive.

Authorities said the boy used either hydrogen chloride or hydrogen sulfide in a plastic bottle with aluminum foil, which exploded and burned the students’ arms and legs, said Steve Henry, deputy chief for the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office

— And charge you $10,000 a year for the privilege

In a year when trillion dollar bailouts have become routine, many Americans have become almost numb to our acceleration towards socialism.

But gun rights activists aren’t in that crowd, and so GOA has to inform you of yet ANOTHER threat to your privacy, the Second Amendment, and even your wallet.

It is called an “individual mandate” or, alternatively, the “Massachusetts plan.” And over the weekend, both the Washington Post and the New York Times worked hard to build momentum for it.

Elio Citala-Rodriguez

Fayetteville, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff’s detectives said they have charged an illegal immigrant from Mexico with sexually inappropriate behavior with a 6-year-old girl.

Elio Citala-Rodriguez, 28, of 100 Leighton Drive in Pink Hill, is a distant relative of the victim, authorities said.

The encounters happened between March 2006 and September 2007 while Rodriguez was living with the victim and her parents in Fayetteville, according to detectives.

Authorities were also investigating reports of inappropriate behavior that happened at a house in Pink Hill. Investigators say the victim in the Pink Hill case was forced to have sexual intercourse and engage in other sexual favors with Rodriguez.

Pink Hill police said they planned to file charges against Rodriguez.

Meanwhile, Cumberland County detectives charged Rodriguez with first-degree statutory rape, first-degree statutory sex offense and taking indecent liberties with a child.

He was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond. He was expected to make a first court appearance at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Detention Center Courtroom.

Rodriguez was also being retained by Immigration Custom Enforcement.

Slowly but surely we are being boiled like a frog.. There is no reason for this in a free society.

I was traveling down highway 64 today, and when I do this, I often stop and shop at local stores. While doing this, I bought a small town newspaper. Reading it, I found this article on page 2:

MOUNT WASHINGTON, Pa. — Workers cleaning out a house in Mt. Washington called police when they found a device with what looked like pipe bombs with wires and nails attached.

“It looked exactly like somebody would wear in a suicide bomber-type of scene or suicide bomber- type of incident,” said Sheldon Williams, of the Pittsburgh police bomb squad.

The device was found outside 559 Southern Avenue late Thursday morning while workers from Pittsburgh Iron and Scrap Metal were picking up scrap metal. While loading materials into their truck, they noticed a device and called authorities.

The bomb squad arrived and, using the squad’s robot, police were able to get a closer look at the device.

“It had a vest,” he said. “The pipe bombs were in a series, meaning they were all linked together.”
