An explosives investigation has shut down a busy freeway off-ramp at Lincoln Avenue in Corona this morning until further notice, according to city police and California Highway Patrol officers.
“They found some suspicious items, and it’s being checked by a bomb squad from Riverside Sheriff’s office,” Corona police Sgt. Alex Marmolejo said of the closure that has been affecting the off-ramp from the freeway’s westbound lanes since at least 3 a.m.
Who left the items there remains a mystery.
Earlier in the night, Corona police officers spotted several persons pushing a car in the same general area and discovered that one of the men had been shot, Marmolejo said.
“We’re not sure if the two (incidents) are connected,” he said.
ADRIAN, Mich. (WXYZ) - The FBI says they have arrested the final suspect in the Hutaree case.The arrest of Josh Stone, son of the group’s leader David Stone, came after a standoff in North Adams Village, about 30 miles from the site of Saturday’s raid in Adrian. The younger Stone has been on the run since the raid. Agents say Stone was hiding in a home with 5 other adults and a toddler. Agents say the people inside were all there willingly and were not being held hostage. Stone was coaxed out when agents played messages from the Stone family over a loudspeaker system.
The five other people in the house were also taken into custody. It is not clear what connection, if any, they have to the Hutaree organization. It is also not yet clear if they will face any charges in the case.

Watching the debate on health care was like having a nightmare while living in the circus. The clowns never hear those they “entertain,” yet they continue to throw nasty legislation at the public. When the subject of the Tenth Amendment has been raised in past conversation, some have laughed and some have said, “Oh, that will never work.” Since its passage, many States have tried to invoke their Tenth Amendment rights on several occasions. The largest combined effort, before now, was during the Civil War, when eleven states sought to secede from the united States. Interestingly enough, the last time people got truly fired up about their States rights was during the Roosevelt Administration’s “New Deal.” Why do we have such a magnificent amendment to protect the states if we are not going to use it?

Tisdale said he bought drinks for other people and had a couple himself, and then became emotional. He said the man started talking about his military service, and then suddenly said that he had an M-16 and explosives in his car, and he was going to “kill everyone in the building.”

Package Contained 4 Vials Of Nitroglycerin, Police Say
ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Police have detonated a package that prompted the evacuation of an Asheville neighborhood on Thursday afternoon.
Investigators said that the package was found by the owner of the Johnson Siler Mobile Home Park at 28 Rock Hill Place at about 3 p.m.
Police said that the owner was cleaning out a trailer in the park that had been abandoned for about two years when he found a crate that contained what appeared to be four vials of nitroglycerin. They said the man moved the crate up the street away from most of the trailers and called police.
The hazardous materials team of the police department dug a small pit away from the trailer park and detonated the crate in the hole.
The discovery led to the evacuation of the surrounding area, but residents have since been allowed to return to their homes.
Nitroglycerin is used in the manufacturing of explosives, including dynamite.
Police said they are still trying to determine from where the nitroglycerin originated.
A Monroe County man is in jail after the Sheriff’s Department said it got a tip a government facility was the target of a bomb plot.
Charlie Leroy Russell, 50, is in the Monroe County Jail on four felony counts of unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance. He is also charged with five counts of illegal manufacture of process of explosives, and the sheriff said additional charges are pending a grand jury review.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said it executed a search warrant Tuesday at Russell’s home and seized numerous blasting caps, improvised explosive devices, suppressed weapons, large amount of ammunition and chemical compounds used to manufacture explosives.
Documents and other literature were discovered that described the construction and ingredients necessary to create explosives, and milling equipment was seized from the residence that was used to manufacture the firearm accessories, deputies said.
TROUP - For the second time in three days, federal officials have cordoned off an area around an East Texas post office after a suspected pipe bomb was discovered.
U.S Postal inspectors and agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are on the scene on Troup in front of the building that serves as the town’s U.S. post office and city hall after a postal worker found a suspicious device in the blue collection box in front of the building today.
Pat Hendrix, Troup chief of police, said the device was found at 12:47 p.m.

Police officers from the LAPD Foothill Division were called to a Sun Valley by reports of grenade-type explosive devices found in a neighborhood.
Police cordoned off a perimeter around a block near the intersection of Sunland Boulevard and Tuxford Street. The house is located on the 8700 block of Herrick Avenue.
LAPD Bomb Squad officers detonated two items against a brick wall in the back yard of the residence. Officers remained on scene to clean up and continue the investigation.
Sara Howard, a spokesperson for Congress Russ Carnahan, confirmed tonight that a coffin was left on the front lawn of the Carnahan’s home residence in the St. Louis area.Coffins don’t usually turn up on front lawns, so this could be called creepy. Howard called it “disturbing”, since it was an obvious protest to the recently passed Health Care Reform Act, and Carnahan’s yes vote. A number of democratic members of Congress it seems have received threats and other strange messages, but this is certainly out of the ordinary. There doesn’t seem to be any mystery here. Howard says there was a Tea Party protest in front the congressman’s office earlier in the day on Wednesday and a coffin was there. So it’s assumed that the protest moved to Carnahan’s house and the coffin stayed. I’m told the police were not involved, since it doesn’t appear there was any direct threat and the coffin was empty. However, one can only imagine what may be implied by leaving a coffin on a front lawn. We all know that emotions have been running high over the health care reform debate, but this has to make you wonder where this debate is going.
A Carnahan spokesperson will be on Awake with News 4 Thursday morning at 6:30 a.m. to discuss the coffin incident.

One of those drivers is Andy Michopoulos. A Yellow Cab has been his office for three years. But now he will be doing double duty in an effort to help keep our city safe. “As a driver who’s out at all times of night and all over the city, you see things going on and to have a direct way of reporting that to the police is definitely a plus,” says Michopoulos.
“Just like our squad cars they have 2-way radios, they have cell phones and they have mobile data terminals,” says Colorado Springs Police Chief Richard Myers. He feels this is a win-win situation for our community. “So by just increasing their awareness a little bit on how to watch the unusual, how to identify things that could be criminal activity in progress, it’s just a short stretch to get them to take the extra time to pick up the mic and call dispatch,” says Chief Myers.
Four Hemet city code enforcement pickups were torched late Tuesday night, and police suspect the incident is related to three previous attacks on police officers.
The fires were reported to police at 11:30 p.m. off Florida Avenue at City Hall, across the street from the Hemet Police Department and the ormer Gang Task Force office that was targeted twice

Lawmakers are proposing a national identification card — what they’re calling “high-tech, fraud-proof Social Security cards” — that would be required for all employees in the United States.
The proposal by Sen. Charles Schumer (D-New York) and Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-South Carolina) comes as the states are grappling to produce another national identification card at the behest of the Department of Homeland Security. Virtually none of the states are in compliance with this Real ID program — adopted in 2005 — requiring state motor vehicle bureaus to obtain and internally scan and store personal information like Social Security cards and birth certificates for a national database.
Now comes a bid for a second card.
Homeland Security officials pointed to the Sept. 11 hijackers’ ability to get driver’s licenses in Virginia using false information as justification for the proposed $24 billion Real ID program. Schumer and Graham point to illegal immigration as cause for their plan.
“We would require all U.S. citizens and legal immigrants who want jobs to obtain a high-tech, fraud-proof Social Security card. Each card’s unique biometric identifier would be stored only on the card; no government database would house everyone’s information,” they said. “The cards would not contain any private information, medical information or tracking devices. The card would be a high-tech version of the Social Security card that citizens already have.”
A private company offering military support has expressed interest in working with the Icelandic government. Many Icelanders are strongly opposed to the idea.
The company in question is known as ECA Program. They are a private company that works in military training and support for governments around the world, and have most recently worked with India. Their interest in Iceland is apparently strong enough to warrant the use of images from Keflavík – where the NATO base used to be located until it closed in 2006 – on their website. They have already asked the Icelandic government if they can utilize the base for their private air force, and are willing to pay 200 billion ISK to do so.
However, the Campaign Against Militarism – in Icelandic group originally founded in opposition to the NATO base – is strongly against the idea. They point out that the company’s background is shrouded in mystery, and that they amount to a mercenary group. Furthermore, the company was denied operation permission in Canada.
After two hours of often acrimonious debate, the U.S. House of Representatives has passed Obama’s health care “reform” bill. The final vote was 219 to 212. The House vote supersedes its November action, when mostly Democrats and one Republican passed the original House health care bill on a 220-215 vote. Immediately prior to the vote, House Speaker Nancy (NAZI) Pelosi said Obamacare is in the tradition of the Declaration of Independence and the Founding Fathers. Democrats gave Pelosi a standing ovation. “Yes we can!” Democrats chanted as the final votes were counted.
Congressional officials said they expected Obama to sign the bill as early as Tuesday.

He pulled on it and followed it to a video camera and antenna.The camera didn’t have any markings identifying its owner, so Jacob took it home and called law enforcement agencies to find out if it was theirs, all the while wondering why someone would station a video camera in an isolated clearing in the woods. He eventually received a call from Mark Heitzman of the U.S. Forest Service. In a stiff voice, Heitzman ordered Jacob to turn it back over to his agency, explaining that it had been set up to monitor “illicit activities.” Jacob returned the camera but felt uneasy. Why, he wondered, would the Forest Service have secret cameras in a relatively remote camping area? What do they do with photos of bystanders? How many hidden cameras are they using, and for what purposes? Is this surveillance in the forest an effective law enforcement tool? Police in rural Riverside County have been on edge in recent weeks. Someone is trying to kill them. First, a natural gas pipe was shoved through a hole drilled into the roof of the gang enforcement unit’s headquarters. The building filled with flammable vapor but an officer smelled the danger before anyone was hurt. “It would have taken out half a city block,” Capt. Tony Marghis said. Then, a ballistic contraption was attached to a sliding security fence around the building. An officer opening the black steel gate triggered the mechanism, which sent a bullet within eight inches of his face. In another attempted booby trap attack, some kind of explosive device was attached to a police officer’s unmarked car while he went into a convenience store. “There’s a person or people out there, a bunch of idiots, trying to do damage to us,” Hemet Police Chief Richard Dana said. “We can’t expect our luck to hold up, we need help.”
Recently released FBI documents prove the existence of highly sensitive National Security and criminal investigations of “Turkish Activities” in Chicago prior to September 11, 2001. These documents add further support to many of the allegations that former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds has claimed, in public and in Congress, since 2002. The documents were released under a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
request into an organization called the Turkish American Cultural Alliance (TACA), an organization repeatedly named by Ms. Edmonds as being complicit in the crimes that she became aware of when she was a translator at the FBI.
The documents released under FOIA are almost completely redacted, but they do support many of Edmonds’ claims, including:
There were a number of very serious FBI investigations into “Turkish activity in Chicago” involving a number of targets, including TACA These investigations were related to “National Security” among other things. These investigations were regarded as so sensitive that no files were to be uploaded to FBI’s computer system. Congressional corruption was involved. The FBI repeatedly conducted actual “physical surveillance” against Turkish and American targets.
Some of these investigations were shut down in 2001.
The documents comprise primarily of internal FBI ECs (Electronic Communications) between FBI offices. Most of the ECs are titled “Turkish American Cultural Association” although one from Feb 2000 is titled “Turkish Investigations in Chicago” which indicates that there were at least seven different pending investigations into Turkish activity in Chicago, and another later documentfrom July 2001 indicates that there were at least ten
investigations into TACA alone.
U.S. Senators Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) introduced a bill which would require all persons in the United States (“U.S.”) seeking to be employed to obtain a government-issued biometric National Identification card.(FN1) Not so surprisingly, this measure has come in the name of “protecting America” against illegal immigrants working in the U.S. unlawfully. Thus, “[t]o ensure that only people legally in the U.S. can work here, the bill will propose a biometric I.D. for EVERY AMERICAN before anybody can get a job.” (FN2)
This is yet another method by which the federal government continually institutes practices and principles contrary to what a Free Confederated Republic should be and contrary to principles of limited government, self-government, natural rights, and true constitutional intent and meaning.
Judge Andrew Napolitano rightfully calls this legislation a “monstrosity” and predicts that this bill will not pass.(FN3) Perhaps Judge Napolitano is correct, but we should consider what the people of the U.S. once rejected but now embrace.
