The letter, drafted and glued with newspaper and magazine clippings, threatened “serious consequences for any industrial activity starting July 1″ and talked of “destruction of sites.”
The article said the letter was from a group claiming to be the Quebec militia for the protection of the territory, a group unheard of until then.
MONTREAL — A 61-year-old Montreal man was arrested early Thursday for making threats against the shale gas industry in Quebec and Alberta.
The man’s arrest shortly after midnight in Montreal by members of the Quebec provincial police, Montreal police and RCMP followed several letters he allegedly sent, said Sgt. Christine Coulombe from the provincial force.
“The threat was deemed to be serious and so were others he sent,” Coulombe said.
BENTON, Ill. — A southern Illinois man faces up to 20 years in federal prison now that he’s admitted possessing components to make a pipe bomb.
Fifty-one-year-old Robert Sloat of Herrin pleaded guilty Tuesday to possessing explosive materials by a previously convicted felon and to having an unregistered destructive device.
The U.S. government alleges officials found Sloat with a can of gunpowder, a fuse and two lead pipes wrapped in duct tape with end caps screwed onto each end during a traffic stop in the Franklin County community of Zeigler. Authorities say Sloat told them he intended to use the pipe bombs to blow up fish or a tree stump.
Sloat previously was convicted of making methamphetamine. Sentencing is set for Oct. 14.
Hate speech? Incitement to violence? Sounds like it to us, but a knowledgeable Muslim would have to disagree.
Why would Muslims not consider this to be hate speech? How is it that we can post these quotes with full certainty that CAIR won’t be contacting the media (or Congress) with wild-eyed accusations of Islamophobia?
Well, for one thing, we don’t actually agree with any of these disgusting statements, of course. No one should be harassed for their religious beliefs (or lack thereof) much less physically assaulted.
But the real reason is that we don’t fear CAIR is because Muslims themselves honestly believe these quotes to be the literal, eternal word of Allah. In fact, CAIR is promoting this hate speech on their own website! It is actively propagating the very literature that contains these comments, even while sanctimoniously claiming that it is working against hate and violence.
But… isn’t CAIR a Muslim organization? What’s the catch?
As we started to speak out on Islam, our bank who has ties to Islam and offers Sharia banking, called in our loan of $140,000. If that loan was not paid within 30 days, they would start foreclosure procedures. In the meantime we were able to get two extensions. Our last extension runs out in November, 2011. At that time, our loan will be due.
We are asking all of our supporters to help us to ward off any foreclosure procedures. As I mentioned, we need $140,000. We believe that if we will all join together, then we will be able to stop this attack and be able to continue on in fighting the radical element of Islam, Sharia and the attacks against our Constitution.

There is no doubt that if RBC asked a mosque to repay in 60 days there would be federal lawsuits filed by the terror-friendly CAIR and a media firestorm.
PS: Now that the U.S. government controls all student loans, will we see the same type of blatant discrimination against applicants who are vocally opposed to sharia, jihad, communism, socialism, Obama, etc?

For 20 years, The American Legion Post 586 has honored U.S. veterans by performing its burial ritual for fallen veterans. On at least four separate occasions, government officials told the burial teams that prayer and religious speech could no longer be included in the burial ritual unless the family submits a specific prayer or message in writing to Director Ocasio for her approval.
