WINDERMERE, Fla.–Next time, Eddie Dillard won’t wear flip-flops.

Dillard, a 29-year-old Ron Paul supporter from this suburb near Orlando, arrived to vote at his precinct at Winderemere Baptist Church early Tuesday morning. Pulling into the parking lot, Dillard noticed a man outside the polling place with a Gingrich sign. He decided to run home, slip into his “Ron Paul Rocks America” T-shirt, grab a “Ron Paul 2012″ sign from his garage, and return to give his candidate some representation outside the precinct after he cast his vote.

Dillard found a quiet spot along a sidewalk lined with tiny American flags and held up his sign. Little did he know, Newt Gingrich had chosen that very spot to make his first Primary Day campaign stop.

When Gingrich’s bus pulled up, Dillard stood silently holding his sign and watched the news-media horde swamp the candidate. Gingrich stepped down from the bus and made a beeline for Dillard. He stopped in front of Dillard and his sign and parked himself for a round of handshaking and pictures with voters. The placement couldn’t have been worse. There was Gingrich, standing with his wife Callista at their first event of the day, and a giant Ron Paul sign floated inches from their crowns.

Noticing the awkward optics, Gingrich aides and security personnel swarmed Dillard, trying to intimidate him into moving. One of Gingrich’s security agents stepped in front of him. When Dillard didn’t budge, the agent lifted his heeled shoe over Dillard’s bare foot and dug the back of it into his skin, twisting it side-to-side like he was stomping out a cigarette. Shocked, Dillard kept his ground and took a picture of the agent with his phone, which was quickly knocked out of his hand. Dillard slipped off his flip-flop to pick up the phone with his foot, and a Gingrich supporter kicked the sandal away.

“Don’t kick me!” Dillard said to the man who knocked away his sandal. More members of Gingrich’s security retinue approached, shoving their shoulders and chests in front of him.

“Just block him!” a Gingrich campaign aide said. “Everyone step on his toes!”

Gingrich supporters handed a “Newt 2012″ yard sign up to the front to put in front of Dillard’s Paul sign. The two signs, zipping back and forth inches from Gingrich’s head, circled each other in the air like fighter jets in a dogfight.

When the candidate finished taking pictures with voters, furious Gingrich aides grilled Dillard.

“If we did this to you, you guys would be furious,” said an aide before stomping back toward the bus. “They have no class. No class.”

As Gingrich pulled away, Dillard looked down at his foot. With the adrenaline pumping, he hadn’t noticed the pain, but now it was starting to sink in. A bruise was forming, and there was a cut mark where the security agent had dug in his heel.

“That was really something,” Dillard said afterwards. “My heart’s racing. Not what I expected to happen today.”

The U.S. army has reportedly spent $50,000 to fund an atheist rock concert at Fort Bragg, and worse yet, the event contracts a headline band noted for their video “Hysteria” which features burning churches, bloody crosses, military cemeteries, and footage of bombing raids. The Blaze reports,

Why in the world would atheists be using a music video that celebrates the burning of churches and bloodied crosses to promote an upcoming music festival? While a viable answer to this question is hard to fathom, this is exactly what’s going on as non-believers prepare for “Rock Beyond Belief,” a massive Army-sponsored music festival occurring at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.

The event, slated for March 31, will feature various musical acts who celebrate the notion that there isn’t a God governing the universe. Additionally, there will be speakers, a rapper who promotes evolution and more. But it is one band called Aiden that is getting the most attention for its participation in the festival. The rock group has a song called “Hysteria.” On the “Rock Beyond Belief” web site the tune is dubbed an “atheist anthem.”

The corrupt elected traitors of the USA at all levels of government are in a suicidal dash to destruction. They are begging to be stopped before they steal again. It is our duty to stop these parasitic criminal psychopaths from killing and robbing the USA citizens. They are pleading with we the People, mainstream American citizens to intervene and stop them before they destroy the only beam of hope in the world for freedom and liberty.

None of these evil people really want to go down in history as the criminal traitors who destroyed the light of the world. Please do what you can to give them what they want.

Their pitiful cries for help are coming faster each day as they openly admit their criminal acts and report everyone does it. Please put them out of their misery. Demand trials and speeding hangings to end their shame.

Deer in the headlights, looks will not stop the impending doom we all face. There must be a consistent and unending roar of disapproval and outrage. There must be a demand for accountability for all traitors who have disenfranchised USA American citizen voters.

First, Congress considered the National Defense Authorization Act, sections of which gave the President the authority to use the military to arrest and indefinitely detain Americans without trial or charge. The language was revised because of strong condemnation from the American people. But now a new bill has emerged that poses yet another threat to the American citizenry.

Congress is considering HR 3166 and S. 1698 also known as the Enemy Expatriation Act, sponsored by Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Charles Dent (R-PA). This bill would give the US government the power to strip Americans of their citizenship without being convicted of being “hostile” against the United States. In other words, you can be stripped of your nationality for “engaging in, or purposefully and materially supporting, hostilities against the United States.” Legally, the term “hostilities” means any conflict subject to the laws of war but considering the fact that the War on Terror is a little ambiguous and encompassing, any action could be labeled as supporting terrorism.

The new law would change a part of US Code 1481 which can be read in full here.

Compare 3166 to 1481 and the change is small. The new section makes no reference to being convicted as it does in section (7). So even though the language of the NDAA has been revised to exclude American citizens, the US government merely has to strip Americans of their citizenship and the NDAA will apply. And they will be able to do so without convicting the accused in a court of law.

Sounds to me like this is a loophole for indefinitely detaining Americans. Once again, you just have to be accused of supporting hostilities which could be defined any way the government sees fit. Then the government can strip your citizenship and apply the indefinite detention section of the NDAA without the benefit of a trial. This certainly must be questioned by American citizens. The way many of our elected representatives  think, our rights are always in danger of being taken away.

It‘s the presidential debate question that America just can’t stop talking about. Regardless of where one stands on the appropriateness of CNN’s John King asking GOP candidate Newt Gingrich about his ex-wife’s “open marriage” claims at last week’s Southern debate, a new admission from the Gingrich campaign is noteworthy.

Now, following the candidate‘s insistance that ABC ignored individuals the campaign offered up to counter his ex’s story, the campaign is conceding that Gingrich’s claims — both in the original debate and during a follow-up interview — were, well, bologna.

On Tuesday, Gingrich and King faced off on CNN to discuss their uncomfortable debate exchange. As we reported, Gingrich, again, insisted that his campaign had offered up character witnesses who were willing to refute his ex-wife’s story, but that ABC News (the network that aired the bombshell interview with Marianne Gingrich) refused to interview them.

When King said that ABC claims they would have talked to these people, but that the campaign never brought them forward, Gingrich claimed this simply wasn’t true. “Oh, that is just plain bologna!,” he responded.

But on Wednesday, the Gingrich campaign finally conceded that the claims that they brought sympathetic pro-Gingrich interview subjects to ABC‘s attention and that the network declined to interview them simply aren’t true — at least not in the framework through which the claims were originally presented.

A man who spent two years in solitary confinement after getting arrested for DWI was awarded $22 million for suffering inhumane treatment in New Mexico’s Dona Ana County Jail.

Stephen Slevin was arrested in August of 2005 for driving while intoxicated, according to NBC station KOB.com. He said he never got a trial and spent the entire time languishing in solitary, even pulling his own tooth when he was denied dental care.

“‘[Prison officials were] walking by me every day, watching me deteriorate,” he said. “Day after day after day, they did nothing, nothing at all, to get me any help.”

Slevin said he made countless requests to see a doctor to get medication for his depression, but wasn’t allowed to see one until only a few weeks before his release. He also never got to see a judge.

The $22 million settlement, awarded by a federal jury on Tuesday, is one of the largest prisoner civil rights settlements in U.S. history, according to KOB.com.

AURORA – The FBI says he was ready to die and his enemy was Western Civilization. 9Wants to Know learned early Monday morning that a Colorado man had been arrested in Chicago on charges of providing material to support a terrorist organization.

Thirty-five-year-old Jamshid Muhtorov of Aurora is accused of trying to go overseas to fight for jihad.

The U.S. District Attorney’s office says Muhtorov was arrested on Saturday at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport by Denver FBI agents and Chicago Joint Terrorism Task Force members.

Just after Muhtorov’s arrest in Chicago, federal agents descended on his apartment complex at East Jewell Ave and South Dayton Street in Aurora.

Agents searched apartment 9-D for evidence. Neighbors say hardly anyone went inside Muhtorov’s apartment. The FBI says he was on his computer and cell phone talking to a terror group and expressing his willingness and desire to carry out an attack.

Muhtorov is facing charges of attempting to provide material and providing material to a foreign terrorist organization, according to John Walsh, the U.S. District Attorney for Colorado.

Newt Gingrich offered his second wife a choice of an open marriage or a divorce when he revealed to her he was having an affair with the woman he later made his third wife, Marianne Gingrich said in interviews with ABC News and The Washington Post.

A day after he told his wife about his affair with Callista Bisek in May 1999, the former House speaker delivered a speech titled “The Demise of American Culture” to a group of Republican women in Pennsylvania, The Washington Post reported Thursday.

“How could he ask me for a divorce on Monday and within 48 hours give a speech on family values and talk about how people treat people?” Marianne Gingrich said in her interview with the Post.

Her revelations echo what she told a reporter for an article published in Esquire magazine in August 2010, but it is the first time Marianne Gingrich has talked about it on camera.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Monday unanimously ruled that the police violated the Constitution when they placed a Global Positioning System tracking device on a suspect’s car and tracked its movements for 28 days.

But the justices divided 5-to-4 on the rationale for the decision, with the majority saying that the problem was the placement of the device on private property. That ruling avoided many difficult questions, including how to treat information gathered from devices installed by the manufacturer and how to treat information held by third parties like cellphone companies.
