Gunmen kill 13 teens at a party near El Paso, Texas

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Suspected drug hitmen burst into a party and killed 13 people, most of them teenagers, on Sunday in Ciudad Juarez, the latest massacre in one of the world’s deadliest cities, Mexican media said. Gunmen jumped out of sport utility vehicles and fired at people in a house in the city across border from El Paso, Texas, in the early hours of Sunday, newspapers El Diario and Reforma said. Police and officials in Ciudad Juarez confirmed the shooting but declined to give more details. Ciudad Juarez is the bloodiest city in Mexico’s drug war as rival cartels fight over markets and control of smuggling routes into the United States. Gunmen have stormed at least seven drug rehabilitation clinics in the manufacturing city over the past two years in attacks that target rival dealers. Two strikes in September killed 28 people. Mexico is the key transit route for U.S.-bound cocaine from South America and a top producer of marijuana and heroin. A military crackdown on rival cartels in Mexico has fueled a surge in drug violence that has killed more than 17,000 people over the past three years.

When I (Capt Bob Zales) stated last night that November 7, 2009 was a historical day for fishermen and fisheries, little did I truly realize what I meant. Saturday November 7, 2009 was the day that some of the citizens of our country were watching and waiting on the vote by the U.S. House of Representatives on Health Care, clearly a very important subject. I also stated early reports of the impacts from the on the water protests by fishermen, consumers, businesses, and communities had over 2000 participants over 250 miles of coast line from Port St Joe, FL to Orange Beach, AL.

When you view and read the information on the web links below, you will understand I was way off the numbers. Apparently the event on the water yesterday was far more reaching than just 250 miles of coast line. According to the below, it stretched over the coast from the Panhandle of FL through coastal Louisiana. The conservative estimate of participants of only 2000 people now seems to be in the thousands, at this time we do not have an exact number, but after reading and viewing the below I would not be afraid to say probably 10,000 people or more directly supported our effort yesterday.

The impressiveness of this should be directly addressed by our Gulf of Mexico Congressional delegation, especially when these people are far more concerned with their survival, the survival of their families and their communities.

ALBANY - A Republican gubernatorial primary candidate brought his ideas on government, the Second Amendment, taxes and abortion to Albany seeking voter support Tuesday night.

Ray McBerry, 41, of Henry County, spoke for more than an hour to an audience of about 20 people at Doublegate Country Club. People gave him a standing ovation after he talked about standing up to the federal government if he were elected governor.

“I’ve been a Republican all my life,” McBerry said. “But I am not a middle-of-the-road Republican, a moderate Republican, I am a traditional conservative Republican.”

The federal government is out of control, McBerry said. It endangers liberties of Georgians and the brakes must be applied, he added.

A shelter for adolescents in southern Illinois is suing the local sheriff’s office for what it describes as an unprovoked attack by two police officers on four children, three of whom were tasered, and one of whom was threatened with sodomy by a sheriff’s deputy.

The Southern Thirty Adolescent Center near Mount Vernon, IL, filed the lawsuit on behalf of three children in its custody, who the lawsuit says were tasered by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies who had been called to help subdue two misbehaving children, aged 11 and 12. Neither of those children were among those who were tasered during what one news service described as a police “rampage.”

The incident took place on July 4, 2008. The federal lawsuit was filed in an East St. Louis court on Friday. In the suit the children are named only by their initials: B.B., R.E., and Z.P.

According to the legal filing, quoted in the Mount Vernon Register, one deputy “physically pushed R.E. towards his bunk and shocked him repeatedly with a taser. … R.E. was tased multiple times to multiple locations on his person, including, but not limited to, his neck. Deputy Bowers shouted to B.B. to lie down in his bunk and physically forced him to lie down.

“Without physical provocation and/or physical gestures from B.B., Deputy Bowers held B.B. down on his bed and shocked him repeatedly with a taser. While he was tasing B.B., Deputy David Bowers threatened to sodomize B.B. As a result of this repeated and excessive tasing, B.B. urinated and defecated himself. Deputy David Bowers was aware that B.B. urinated himself after the tasing.”

The filing goes on to say that a 17-year-old female visitor to the center, who had pleaded with police to stop the attack, was grabbed by an officer, choked, and locked in a closet.

From the Mount Vernon Register, quoting the legal filing:

“As Z.P. was being repeatedly tased, [17-year-old] Megan Geisler pleaded with Deputy David Bowers and Deputy Lonnie Lawler to stop. Deputy David Bowers ordered Deputy Lonnie Lawler to handcuff Megan Geisler. … Deputy David Bowers grabbed Megan Geisler by her arms, lifted her off her feet, and carried her through the male dormitory to a nearby closet. On the way to the closet, Deputy David Bowers lifted Megan Geisler off the ground, pressed her against a wall and choked her. While choking her, Deputy David Bowers said, ‘do you want to live or die bitch’ to Megan Geisler. Megan Geisler was then thrown into a closet. At this time she began vomiting and heaving.”

According to AP, no criminal charges have been filed in the case, and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says the deputies “acted appropriately.”

The Illinois Department of Family and Child Services told southern Illinois’ WSIL-TV that “shocking children with Tasers can result in serious physical and mental injury. Use of these weapons is especially troubling in cases where the children involved have committed no crime and have not even been charged with wrong doing.”

According to Cedric Glover, mayor of Shreveport, Louisiana, his cops “have a power that [. . .] the President of these United States does not have”: His cops can take away your rights.

And would you like to guess which rights he has in mind?

Just ask Shreveport resident Robert Baillio, who got pulled over for having two pro-gun bumper stickers on the back of his truck — and had his gun confiscated.

While the officer who pulled him over says Baillio failed to use his turn signal, the only questions he had for Baillio concerned guns: Whether he had a gun, where the gun was, and if he was a member of the NRA. No requests for a driver’s license, proof of insurance, or vehicle registration — and no discussion of a turn signal.

Accordingly, Baillio told the officer the truth, which led the police officer to search his car without permission and confiscate his gun.

Proposed Law Allows AG Holder to Block Gun Sales to Over a Million Americans

New Jersey Democrat senator Frank R. Lautenberg plans to introduce legislation designed to cancel the Second Amend rights of well over a million U.S. citizens this coming week, according to the New York Times. “Mr. Lautenberg plans to introduce legislation on Monday that would give the attorney general the discretion to block gun sales to people on terror watch lists,” the newspaper reports.
Lautenberg is a notorious gun-grabber. He introduced a similar measure in 2007.

Lautenberg’s action comes in the wake of statistics compiled by the Government Accountability Office drawing attention to an “odd divergence” in federal law that allows erroneously designated terrorists to exercise their Second Amendment right to bear arms but prevents them from getting on a plane or getting a visa.

The Inspector General of the Justice Department reported that the Terrorist Screening Center — the FBI-administered organization that consolidates terrorist watch list information in the United States — had over 700,000 names in its database as of April 2007 and that the list was growing by an average of over 20,000 records per month, according to the ACLU. In March of this year the list hit the one million mark, a 32% increase from 2007.

Is your blood starting to boil yet? If so, then maybe you’ll understand why the traitorous Rep. Peter King of New York, has introduced a Bill in Congress to preemptively deny firearms purchases to anyone the government deems a “potential threat.” (Source)

In fact, not only is the government planning to prevent you from buying a gun, they are also now considering legislation which would allow them to put YOU in jail if they merely THINK you MIGHT do something bad to them. They refer to this as “preventive detention” for people they cannot try in court — because the person hasn’t actually done anything wrong yet. (Source)

I think this charade which calls itself the United States Government has gone quite far enough. In my opinion, it is time to get rid of this abomination by any means necessary - even if that means attacking the government and destroying it by force.

Information has been provided to us by a person who lives in the region in which she has gathered the information that you can read below. It is highly disturbing, not only because of the contents of the information but because without further data, it is impossible to determine what it means.

Considered in light of the very disturbing incident in January 2009 where annual flu “vaccines” being delivered to 18 countries were “accidentally” contaminated with live Avian Flu Virus, we are very concerned.

Has a civilian work force of truckers (and others?) been recruited to disperse highly hazardous materials with the intent of destroying social order and creating an intentional bio-false flag event?

Has civilian well-being been endangered through bizarre transportation activities which expose large populations to extreme dangers without following the established channels for moving highly hazardous materials?

If the US Government is involved, are these activities rogue, or authorized activities? If the US Government is not involved, who is responsible for them?

Is this really happening at all?

The person who collected this data believes she may be in danger but has sent this material to hundreds, she says, of media sources. None has, to date, published this material. Without corroboration, or information which falsifies it, no one would know what to do with it. Ignoring it is easy. But what if the few dots in this picture, while not fully filled in, do, in fact, make a portrait of something critically important? Can we ignore it?

Reporter working on story critical of VA has his equipment confiscated

A public radio reporter visiting a VA hospital earlier this week to work on a story about veterans’ healthcare was stopped by government officials mid-interview, ordered to leave the hospital and had some of his recording equipment confiscated.

David Schultz, a reporter with a local NPR affiliate, WAMU 88.5, was at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Washington, DC on Tuesday night, covering a town hall meeting on the quality of minority healthcare. In the middle of an interview with one of the veterans at the meeting on the below quality healthcare he was receiving at the hospital, Schultz was told by hospital officials to halt the interview and to turn over his recording equipment.

JEFFERSON CITY – A list of Missouri Information Analysis reports — obtained after controversy over one report said supporters of third-party candidates might be militia members — shows conservative groups aren’t the only subjects these reports.

The list, the result of a Freedom of Information request, shows that the subjects of reports include others about white supremacist groups, but also the New Black Panther Party and at least one about the anarchist movement.

The content of reports requested is awaiting a review before release.

Texas Senate votes in Trans-Texas Corridor

The Texas Senate voted 29-2 in favor of re-authorizing private toll contracts that essentially sell our highways to the highest bidder.

On a deal just signed in Dallas, Spain-based Cintra got the rights to charge us 75 cents a mile even though $500 million in gas taxes and other public subsidies will be used to build the project in yet another sweetheart deal for corporations and a raw deal for taxpayers! These contracts are also at the heart of the Trans Texas Corridor.

The two voting against were Senators Glenn Hegar and Wendy Davis. Thank Senator Hegar here: glenn.hegar@senate.state.tx.us. Wendy Davis actually wants MORE of these private toll contracts and voted against these bills because she wanted an open door for Cintra instead of giving public toll entities first crack at toll projects, so “no thanks,” Senator Davis.

All senators but Wendy Davis voted for SB 17 that purports to protect taxpayers from private toll contracts, called CDAs, but is a sham since TxDOT and toll agencies can waive the steps and jump right to a CDA allowing private corporations to control our public infrastructure!

We also put in 200,000 calls to several senators’ districts (Dan Patrick, Juan Hinojosa, Steve Ogden to name a few) because they claimed they hadn’t received ANY calls against this. Well, now they’ve received plenty of calls against! They know the PEOPLE of Texas DO NOT want private control of public roads where these foreign toll operators can control EVERY MILE WE DRIVE, charging oppressively high tolls where they actually have a financial incentive to price drivers off the road in order to maintain a speed of 50 MPH or greater, “There is a sliding scale of damages payments to TxDOT if Average Speeds in the toll lanes are less than 50mph.” The deal also makes TxDOT pay Cintra for any loss of toll revenue due to HOV users!

Video shows London police assaulting man just before his death at G20 protest

A new video shot during last week’s G20 protests in London shows a man being attacked from behind and thrown to the ground by a police officer in riot gear – all just moments before he would suffer a heart attack and die.

The man, 47-year-old Ian Tomlinson, is shown walking with his hands in his pockets and not resisting or speaking to police before a baton-wielding officer appears to strike him in the leg from behind, and then pushes him onto his back and the ground.

The video was shot by a New Yorker in London on business who decided to attend the April 1st protest “out of curiosity,” according to the UK newspaper The Guardian, to which the American gave his footage.

“The primary reason for me coming forward is that it was clear the [Tomlinson] family were not ­getting any answers,” the New Yorker is quoted by newspaper as saying.

The Guardian will soon hand over the footage along with a collection of testimonies from witnesses at the scene of Tomlinson’s death to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), England’s police watchdog.

One witness named Anna Branthwaite said she saw police assault Tomlinson, a newspaper seller who was on his way home from work.

Obama Administration quietly expands Bush’s legal defense of wiretapping program

In a stunning defense of President George W. Bush’s warrantless wiretapping program, President Barack Obama has broadened the government’s legal argument for immunizing his Administration and government agencies from lawsuits surrounding the National Security Agency’s eavesdropping efforts.

In fact, a close read of a government filing last Friday reveals that the Obama Administration has gone beyond any previous legal claims put forth by former President Bush.

President Obama has been a lead supporter of treatments research to improve the health of Gulf War veterans and to prevent similar problems in future military deployments. As a member of the Senate, he requested $30 million funding for the Gulf War Illness Research Program of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program. This excellent program was also recommended in the November report of the Congressionally-mandated Research Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans Illnesses, which found that 175,000 Gulf War veterans suffer from chronic illness due to toxic exposures during the war, for which there are currently no effective treatments. The Report praised the program for “its emphasis on innovative studies that have the potential to yield clinically useful results in the near term.” But under the previous administration, DoD eliminated new Gulf War illness research from its budget, though it historically provided 2/3 of the funding, forcing ill veterans to go door-to-door in Congress. Some Members, like the President, responded, but the program has been forced to compete with earmarks for Congressional attention, and funding has been inadequate ($8 million in FY 2009) to address this major health problem. The Report placed the highest priority on research to identify treatments to improve the health of ill Gulf War veterans and prevent similar problems in future deployments. It recommended that this peer-reviewed competitive program be included in the President’s Budget at the $40 million level. I urgently request that you place the “peer-reviewed Gulf War illness research program” in the President’s 2010 budget at at least the $25 million level to move toward an adequate level of treatments research (DoD account RDTE, A; line title R-1 30; PE # 0603002A).

VA Hospital Gives Veteran HIV After Mistakes

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Veterans Affairs department says a patient has tested positive for HIV after being exposed to contaminated equipment at a medical facility.

The VA reported previously that hepatitis has been found in 16 patients. But the agency says there is no way to prove the patients contracted the illnesses because of treatment at their facilities.

More than 10,000 veterans have been warned to get blood tests because they could have been exposed to contamination at facilities Tennessee, Georgia and Miami. All three sites failed to properly sterilize endoscopic equipment between treatments. The VA has said patients could have been exposed to body fluids from a previous patient.

The VA on Monday did not return telephone calls and e-mails about the positive HIV test.

An Iraqi translator who has earned commendations for risking his life repeatedly to save the lives of many American soldiers in combat has been denied a visa to live in the United States because of nonviolent actions he took to overthrow Saddam Hussein — at the same time the U.S. government was calling for regime change in Iraq.

Jasim, whose name is being withheld for his safety, has received strong support from the U.S. military, and the Department of Homeland Security approved his application for a visa.

But the State Department has denied Jasim a visa because he was arrested in 1996 for actions against the Saddam dictatorship.

The expenses will be horrendous to the taxpayer. With the games being played with the price of oil we do not need to be paying a foreign company, Cintra, our tax money. It will cost 75 cents per mile. And the Australian company in the middle of this appears to have financial problems and may implode the way the our mortgage companies did. We, the taxpayers, do not want to have to pay for another bail out. This legislation is foolhardy. Please call your senators again and make them aware of how you feel about this. They are saying that no one has called. That no one us upset by it. Is that true? I have already talked with people who have called.

Inside source reveals FEMA & DHS preparing for mass graves and martial law near Chicago

An Indiana county municipal official in the vicinity of Chicago reveals the contents of his meetings with FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security. The initial requests seem reasonable enough when FEMA asks the county officials to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan to deal with flooding, fires, high winds and tornadoes.

But as the required meetings and calls with FEMA and DHS continue over a two year period their request become more unusual, raising suspicions of county officials

“We want to know every important thing in this county. We want to know where police departments are. Where weapons are stored. Hazardous material. Where can we land a helicopter. Where are the airports. How big a plane can you land at the airport. Where are all the bridges. Where are all the power stations. Where are all the generating stations.Where are all the substations. They literally wanted to know where everything was. I’m sitting there thinking man if there was ever martial law. This kind of information is exactly the kind of stuff they are going to want. We’re just laying it all out for them right there.”

During the legally mandated meetings held with FEMA and DHS different disaster scenarios were reveled to county officials:

  • In late December 2008 municipal officials were invited to Indianapolis for a briefing on the state of Indiana. There were told if industry were to collapse for example GM going bankrupt resulting in mass unemployment a depression would soon follow and municipalities could expect to loose 40% of their funds.
  • Every county in the nation would be required to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan.
  • The county should prepare a plan to vaccinate the entire population within 48 hours and practice the plan several times.
  • FEMA inquired to where mass graves could be placed in the county and would they accept bodies from elsewhere.
  • The sheriff’s department via the state sheriff association was told that no .223 ammunition rounds would be available as the military would be purchasing all stocks.
  • The county was asked to make plans for “hardening” of police and fire stations, putting in hardened bunker type buildings around town.
  • The county was asked to make plans for the possibility of up to 400,000 refugees from Chicago.

Waterboarding, Rough Interrogation of Abu Zubaida Produced False Leads, Officials Say
When CIA officials subjected their first high-value captive, Abu Zubaida, to waterboarding and other harsh interrogation methods, they were convinced that they had in their custody an al-Qaeda leader who knew details of operations yet to be unleashed, and they were facing increasing pressure from the White House to get those secrets out of him.

The methods succeeded in breaking him, and the stories he told of al-Qaeda terrorism plots sent CIA officers around the globe chasing leads.

In the end, though, not a single significant plot was foiled as a result of Abu Zubaida’s tortured confessions, according to former senior government officials who closely followed the interrogations. Nearly all of the leads attained through the harsh measures quickly evaporated, while most of the useful information from Abu Zubaida — chiefly names of al-Qaeda members and associates — was obtained before waterboarding was introduced, they said.

Moreover, within weeks of his capture, U.S. officials had gained evidence that made clear they had misjudged Abu Zubaida. President George W. Bush had publicly described him as “al-Qaeda’s chief of operations,” and other top officials called him a “trusted associate” of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and a major figure in the planning of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. None of that was accurate, the new evidence showed.

Cameras to Catch Speeders and Scofflaws Are Spreading — And Sparking Road Rage

The village of Schaumburg, Ill., installed a camera at Woodfield Mall last November to film cars that were running red lights, then used the footage to issue citations. Results were astonishing. The town issued $1 million in fines in just three months.

But drivers caught by the unforgiving enforcement — which mainly snared those who didn’t come to a full stop before turning right on red — exploded in anger. Many vowed to stop shopping at the mall unless the camera was turned off. The village stopped monitoring right turns at the intersection in January.

Once a rarity, traffic cameras are filming away across the country. And they’re not just focusing their sights on red-light runners. The latest technology includes cameras that keep tabs on highways to catch speeders in the act and infrared license-plate readers that nab ticket and tax scofflaws.

Vehicles drive past a speed surveillance and ticketing camera on a road heading into downtown in Cleveland, Ohio, earlier this month. The cameras measure the speed of passing motorists and make a photo of the car’s license plate so the city can mail a speeding ticket to the offending driver.

Drivers — many accusing law enforcement of using spy tactics to trap unsuspecting citizens — are fighting back with everything from pick axes to camera-blocking Santa Clauses. They’re moving beyond radar detectors and CB radios to wage their own tech war against detection, using sprays that promise to blur license numbers and Web sites that plot the cameras’ locations and offer tips to beat them..

Summary

This 10 Dec 2006 document is a study by the US Air Force that describes significant health risks to personnel who have been stationed at Balad Air Base, Iraq and the surrounding population. Our source states the that the military has denied any adverse health risks to soldiers, but the study clearly describes substantial health risks to soldiers, with the majority of the risks being known cancer causing hazards.

The study describes the Balard Burn Pit as the worst environmental hazard ever seen.

Six years into the war, many U.S. bases in Iraq are still without incinerators, leaving open pits spewing toxic plumes over soldiers and civilians.

Acetaldehyde, Acrolien, Arsenic, Benzene, Carbon Monoxide, Ethylbenzene, Formaldehyde, Hydrogen Cyanide, Hydrogen Fluoride, Phosgene, Sulfur Dioxide, Sulfuric Acid, Toluene, Trichloroethane, Xylene. These are just some of the chemicals detected in smoke from the Balad Burn Pit, one of the many vast open pits spewing toxic plumes over Iraq and Afghanistan.

But not to worry; In “Just the Facts,” an information sheet for troops, the Department of Defense has stated that “the potential short- and long-term risks” from Balad “were estimated to be low.” (Documents prove they knowingly lied) The VA has just announced it will monitor reports of veterans’ pit-related illness. But the DoD has yet to declassify old air sample reports or issue current findings.

Who is telling the truth?

This is Timothy Bowman. Last month he was arrested and charged with planning the escape of his fiancee from court ordered mental health confinement. Local police officials have accused Mr. Bowman of being violent and dangerous. A warrant was issued, after he allegedly trespassed on private property during a purported “breakout attempt.” Hospital officials say he was seen throwing a snowball at the window of a patient, signaling the other conspirators in the planned escape.

Policeabuse.com is accused of helping Tim Bowman. Our stretch limo was identified as the getaway car. We admit that we are guilty of helping Tim Bowman, but not with an escape. We gave him the help he needed to document a serious case of patient abuse, civil rights violations and incompetence. We went undercover inside the NY state mental health system with hidden cameras. When you hear this story you will understand why we gave him our full support.

We got involved because Mr. Bowman said that the police in Rochester, NY, were unfair and abusive. After a report we determined to be false was made against Mr. Bowman we attempted to provide the local police department with correct information. However, the investigating officer had an emotional fit in the lobby of the police station. He kept screaming that we had lied to him. He told us that we were responsible for his migraine headache and he did not need to hear our information. This was the response our investigators received when we tried to provide witness statements to Officer Britton of the Rochester PD. We will provide the entire audio to Mr.Bowman’s defense attorney.

The allegations made against Mr. Bowman are based on a report by this man, John Zehr. John Zehr’s complaint to the Rochester police department is at the heart of our story. John Zehr is the hospital administrator for the Shore Winds, one of New York’s worst nursing homes.

According to NY state health records obtained by Policeabuse.com, the Shore Winds has nearly double the number of health code violations to that of other nursing homes in New York (compared to the state wide average). Four months ago state investigators launched an investigation into charges of patient sexual abuse at the same facility.

Jenna Bush’s Secret Service vehicle towed for unpaid parking tickets

WBAL in Baltimore reported today that Jenna Bush’s Secret Service detail vehicle was towed due to six unpaid parking tickets. A second Secret Service vehicle was also ticketed.

Bush and her hubby, Henry Hager, moved to Baltimore after their wedding, where she is a school teacher, and he is employed by Constellation Energy.

Big deal, right? Well, according to the Secret Service’s web site, Jenna Bush is not entitled to Secret Service detail as she is over age 16. So…why are our tax dollars paying for at least two Secret Service vehicles to be dispatched to Jenna?
