Home-made explosive thrown at Customs Office in Orlando Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — A small home-made explosive was thrown into the plaza in front of a building that houses a U.S. Customs office in Orlando, the sheriff’s department said.Initial reports said a bomb may have gone off in the area Friday evening.
Jeff Williamson of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said someone reported hearing an explosion outside the building and saw paper and plastic scattered. He said no one was hurt and there is no visible damage, but the bomb squad did respond to investigate.Deputies are still examining the object to determine what it is. The office park has been reopened.The office is located on Southland Boulevard near Orange Blossom Trail and Sand Lake Boulevard in Orlando. The building houses several businesses.
