Law enforcement officials are investigating two homemade explosive devices that were apparently thrown from a vehicle Thursday at two Kalispell locations, including one aimed at a pro-life prayer vigil.
No one was injured, though the devices — made up of an unknown chemical, a plastic bottle and aluminum foil — did explode.

According to the Kalispell Police Department, the first device was reported by an off-duty officer in front of a department store at Mountain View Plaza at 6:05 p.m. and the second was along Meridian Road at 6:17 p.m.
Kalispell Police Department Lt. Wade Rademacher said detectives still are investigating the reports, but the timing and proximity of the devices appear to point to a sole perpetrator.
“It was the same type of bottle and appeared to have the same types of components,” Rademacher said.
The second device was reported at the intersection of Meridian Road and Liberty Street where a woman was participating in 40 Days for Life, a national campaign that sponsors pro-life prayer vigils outside abortion providers. (more…)

Man arrested for threatening to kill officers
By Dana Yates
A man was arrested Monday night for threatening to kill police officers and blow up the South San Francisco Police Department, Sgt. Joni Lee said yesterday.
Gerardo Kelly, 57, of South San Francisco was arrested for allegedly making threats to police officers and terrorists threats, Lee said.
Kelly was calling the South San Francisco Police Department throughout the day Monday “rambling about how he was going to get a bunch of Mexicans together to kill officers,” Lee said. He made other similar statements, Lee said.
Later, he called the San Francisco Police Department where he spoke to dispatchers for approximately 16 minutes, Lee said.
He made comments about killing police officers and bringing a bomb to the South San Francisco Police Department, Lee said.
“In light of what happened to the Oakland police officers and the officers in Pittsburgh, obviously we take these threats seriously,” Lee said.
Following that lengthy call, the South San Francisco Police Department issued warning Monday night for police officers to be on the lookout for Kelly. Conveniently, Kelly provided dispatchers with his name, cell phone number and address, Lee said.
He was arrested and booked into San Mateo County Jail on two charges.
Denver COLORADO - Police Destroy Suspicious Package Near Library
“A security guard alerted police when he saw the suspicious package on a bench in the library courtyard. He reported seeing wires sticking out of a metal box”
An explosive situation is under investigation after someone set off a bomb in a Livingston County home. It happened on the 1200 block of Triangle Lake Road in Marion Township, just south of Howell. As Mona Shand shows us, both police and the homeowners are trying to figure out who could have done this. If you look closely at this lake front home, you’ll see a hole in the wall. It’s the first visible sign of the explosion that rocked the house just after midnight. A sound Sandra Donovan first blamed on lightning. Sandra Donovan, Pipe Bomb Victim: “It felt like the house was coming off the foundation, it rocked the entire house, shook the windows.” The force of the explosion was so strong it blew the doors right off the fireplace, shattered the window and filled the basement with ash and smoke.

“You and your Employees will all die. Your patrons will die your postal OFFICE will blow up. MOUNT WASHINGTON, Pa. — Workers cleaning out a house in Mt. Washington called police when they found a device with what looked like pipe bombs with wires and nails attached.
“It looked exactly like somebody would wear in a suicide bomber-type of scene or suicide bomber- type of incident,” said Sheldon Williams, of the Pittsburgh police bomb squad.
The device was found outside 559 Southern Avenue late Thursday morning while workers from Pittsburgh Iron and Scrap Metal were picking up scrap metal. While loading materials into their truck, they noticed a device and called authorities.
The bomb squad arrived and, using the squad’s robot, police were able to get a closer look at the device.
“It had a vest,” he said. “The pipe bombs were in a series, meaning they were all linked together.”

CEDAR RAPIDS - A pop machine exploded in SW Cedar Rapids on Monday morning, sending debris flying over 100 feet.

One man who had two cars hit by the flying shrapnel says it was lucky he wasn’t standing outside when the bomb went off.
“I just happened to pull the curtain back and I saw a flash and a big boom and it scared the crap out of me,” said Ahban Ayers, apartment resident.
Ayers estimated damage to one of his cars at $300-$400. He says he can remember other small time vandalism incidents at the complex, but nothing like this.

HEBRON - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport on Monday seized an arriving international shipment of 60 pump action 12-gauge shotguns and 177 pistols masked as toys.
It was the largest seizure of weapons made by CBP in Cincinnati.
The shipment, marked as “Toys,” was valued at $14,000 and was shipped from Istanbul, Turkey.
CBP officers targeted the merchandise for an intensive examination and upon physical inspection of the 25-box shipment found the guns. The shotguns were encased in Styrofoam molding and individually packaged in 12 large boxes, according to a press release from the CBP. The pistols were shipped within hard plastic gun storage cases packed inside 13 large cardboard boxes. The guns were destined for a business located in Kentucky.
“I think this is a fine example of the federal partnerships in place between CBP working with other government agencies, in this case, ATF and the Department of Commerce to help secure our borders and protect the American public from harm,” said David Murphy, U.S. Customs and Border Protection director of field operations in Chicago, in a written statement. “The detection and seizure of these firearms is the direct result of attentive and diligent work by CBP officers.”
No arrests have been made in this case, however, the investigation concerning this shipment continues.
All firearms seized were turned over to CBP Fines, Penalties and Forfeitures for future forfeiture proceedings and disposal determination.

AN investigation into the illicit sale of American nuclear secrets was compromised by a senior official in the State Department, a former FBI employee has claimed.
The official is said to have tipped off a foreign contact about a bogus CIA company used to investigate the sale of nuclear secrets.
The firm, Brewster Jennings & Associates, was a front for Valerie Plame, the former CIA agent. Her public outing two years later in 2003 by White House officials became a cause célèbre.
The claims that a State Department official blew the investigation into a nuclear smuggling ring have been made by Sibel Edmonds, 38, a former Turkish language translator in the FBI’s Washington field office.
Sibel Edmonds is the most gagged person in US history. The government has repeatedly invoked the State Secrets Privilege in her case - not for reasons of ‘national security’ but to hide ongoing criminal activity. Please call Waxman and Conyers’ offices and demand public open hearings into Edmonds’ case and the State Secrets Privilege.

timesonline.co.uk — THE FBI has been accused of covering up a key case file detailing evidence against corrupt government officials and their dealings with a network stealing nuclear secrets. The assertion follows allegations made in The Sunday Times two weeks ago by Sibel Edmonds, an FBI whistleblower, who worked on the agency’s investigation of the network.
Cemex, a huge Mexican owned company which manufactures, concrete, cement, asphalt, and concrete pipe, has bought out the Rinker Group and is now one of the largest suppliers in the world. The acquisition resulted from a hostile takeover and gives Cemexover 100 locations in Arizona alone.
A Mexican company is now the largest supplier of ready mix concrete and cement in the USA !! Our global economy at it’s best. Thank you Global George and your CFR friends !!
Now we find out, from a very reliable source who lives on the Arizona border and is employed in this industry, that
Cemex will not allow any of its locations to bid on any construction project which relates to border security on the Arizona/Mexico border !!
Could this practice be a result of pressure from a Mexican government doing its best to ensure the easiest possible access for millions of illegal aliens streaming across the border into Arizona?
Could it be the influence of the Gulf Drug Cartel, which is also based in Monterrey, Mexico? Certainly they have the money, power, and incentive to interfere with our efforts to secure the border.
Whatever the reason, it certainly will have the approval of John McCain. That lying worm.
This practice is wrong and needs to be exposed. Cemex belongs at the very top of all boycott lists.
Look at all their locations in Arizona alone: rinkermaterials
While you’re there, take a look at Florida. The profit from every sale they make goes back to the elite in Mexico who could care less about their working class, and we keep hearing how poor Mexico is.
Please pass this on and encourage a boycott of these Reconquista invaders
Good news! The bombshell report on the front page of London’s Sunday Times on charges made by former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds, has finally led to press coverage by the mainstream media!
From one side of the globe to the other, as expected, the explosive whistleblower allegations concerning highly-placed, well-known U.S. officials in the Departments of State and Defense involved in an illicit, for-profit scheme to develop and protect a network of spies, who then stole and sold American nuclear secrets to the international black markets via Turkey, Israel and Pakistan, is now worldwide news!
That, even though the Times only covered “about 20%” of the story she has to tell, according to Edmonds, with whom we spoke late last night.
Sunday’s British blockbuster, detailing how nuclear secrets were then proliferated to Iran, Libya, North Korea, and potentially even al-Qaeda, was picked up on Monday and reported by international mainstream outlets such as The Times of India, Pakistan’s Daily Times, Iran’s PressTV, Israel’s Haaretz and even the Turkish Daily News.
Here in the United States, the mainstream media coverage included:
She was being propped up by CIA and so I guess she was privy to that information and she wasn’t supposed to let it slip but she did and she paid although people were trying to kill her anyway but if its true that UBL was murdered then who has been this lovable fellow in all thhe tapes?
David Frost the presenter did not challenge her on her assertion (2:14) that Bin Laden was murdered, so maybe he was and the West has not announced it. It would make sense that the West would cover up such a truth, as Bin Laden is needed as a “bogeyman” to continue the farcical “War on Terror”

State Dept and “Justice” dept join Bush in being above the law The Department of Justice declined to prosecute a State Department employee who allegedly sexually assaulted a female Halliburton/KBR worker in Iraq Ali Mokhtare, who is still employed by the State Department, was investigated in 2005 after a female Halliburton/KBR employee said he sexually assaulted her at the company-run camp in Basra, Iraq. Mokhtare was a diplomatic official in Basra who first came to Iraq as a Farsi translator interviewing detainees.
O’Reilly: Fox News Turned Down Pro-Constitution Ad Because It Was Anti-American’
Think Progress | December 10, 2007
The Center for Constitutional Rights recently produced an ad called “Rescue the Constitution” that criticizes the Bush administration for “destroying the Constitution” through the use of tactics like renditions and torture. Fox News refused to air the ad, claiming that it needed “documentation” that the Constitution “is indeed being destroyed.”
It is not “anti-American” to believe that President Bush has shredded the Constitution. In fact, 55 percent of voters believe Bush “has abused his powers in a way that rises to the level of impeachable offenses.”
But protecting Bush’s power is a priority for Fox News. The network previously refused to run an ad that was critical of then-Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito. The decision was seen as an “effort to shield President Bush’s choice for the high court.

,, Lawyers Reveal Existence of ‘Camp 7′ Secret Guantánamo Detention Unit –Prisoner says subjected to “state-sanctioned torture” in secret C.I.A. prisons09 Dec 2007 The first of the so-called high value Guantánamo prisoners to have seen a lawyer claims he was subjected to “state-sanctioned torture” while in secret C.I.A. prisons, and he has asked for a court order barring the government from destroying evidence of his treatment. The request, in a filing by his lawyers, was made on Nov. 29, before officials from the Central Intelligence Agency acknowledged that the agency had destroyed videotapes of interrogations of two ‘Qaeda’ operatives that current and former officials said included the use of harsh techniques torture. Lawyers for the prisoner, Majid Khan, claim he “was subjected to an aggressive C.I.A. detention and interrogation program notable for its elaborate planning and ruthless application of torture” to numerous detainees. The documents also suggest that Mr. Khan and other high-value prisoners are now being held in a previously undisclosed area of the Guantánamo prison he called Camp 7.

Incident Extremely Similar To ‘05 Explosion At British Consulate
NEW YORK (CBS) ― Police and bomb squad units were called to the Mexican Consulate in Manhattan early Friday morning after two explosive devices were thrown at the building, causing a small explosion, WCBSTV.com first reported.
NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly said the two devices were replica grenades packed with explosive powder, eerily similar to an incident at the British Consulate two years ago.
“There was a person seen on a bicycle today. Two years ago there were videos that showed an individual on a bicycle. We’re still looking at it now,” Kelly said.
The detonation blew out several windows and sent debris flying into the building, located in the Murray Hill section at 27 E. 39th Street between Madison and Park avenues.
Police aren’t sure why the consulate was targeted, but are using surveillance video to try and pinpoint suspects.
“The personnel here at the Mexican consulate say they received no calls or no warning, and they have no reason as to why this incident took place,” Kelly told reporters during an afternoon news conference.
