LAKE JACKSON, Texas, Feb 03, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) — The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign raised more campaign donations from active-duty members of the military than all other presidential candidates combined–Republican or Democrat–according to a Paul campaign internal analysis.

A veteran of the Cold War-era, Paul raised more than $150,000 from active military in the fourth quarter. This comes after the Congressman outraised all GOP candidates — including all GOPers combined, and President Obama singularly — in the second and third quarters of last year. Dr. Paul also outraised his GOP competitors in a head-to-head comparison during his 2008 run for the presidency.

Especially notable is that Paul raised about triple the amount Obama received and about six times that of all currently-competing Republicans–Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Buddy Roemer, and Rick Santorum–combined.

Taken together, this means Dr. Paul raised approximately double the money from active military than all the candidates from both parties combined.

Romney and Gingrich each received around $10,000, meaning Paul trumps them by about 15 times in a head-to-head matchup.

Hacking network Anonymous has released a recording of a conference call between the FBI and UK police in which they discuss efforts against hackers.

The call, said to have taken place last month, covers the tracking of Anonymous and similar groups, dates of planned arrests and details of evidence held. Anonymous also published an email, apparently from the FBI, showing the email addresses of call participants. The FBI and Scotland Yard confirmed the leak and said they were investigating.

It also emerged on Friday that hackers linked to Anonymous had accessed the websites of several US law enforcement agencies and that of the Greek justice ministry.

With online voter registration anyone can register with any political party they want in the privacy of their own home. But political parties are private associations protected by the First Amendment Right of freedom of association. This is why political parties are entitled to conduct “closed” primary elections excluding nonmembers.

It is also why political parties have the legal right to restrict the use of the party name, can exclude “sham” candidates from party functions and events, and can deny access to party resources and volunteers.

I’m sure this tool thought it would be great fun to run as a Democrat, perhaps at the suggestion of his pal Russell Pearce for his recall. But everyone knows that this “Nazi problem” belongs to Russell Pearce.

A University of South Carolina senior is in jail after police charged him with throwing seven Molotov cocktails at buildings on campus and in downtown Columbia, including the Salty Nut Cafe.

Investigators believe Theodore Walter Podewil IV, 22, of Columbia tossed the homemade bombs from parking garages, at vacant houses and at trash bins. No one was injured in the fires, but the Jan. 6 Salty Nut blaze caused $300,000 in damage and the business has been closed for nearly a month.

Podewil is in the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on seven counts of possessing and using an incendiary device. Three of the charges were filed by the University of South Carolina Police Department, and four were filed by the Columbia Fire Department.

During a Wednesday afternoon bond hearing, Podewil smiled and chuckled as he told City Court Judge Dana Turner that he is a senior criminal justice major. He also told the judge that he has several charges pending in Richland and Lexington counties, including cocaine possession and DUI. He had two bonds set at $25,000 each.

Investigators said the Molotov cocktails were built out of beer bottles, although on one a sunflower oil bottle from a health food store was used. Duct tape was used to secure cloth wicks to the bottles, which were filled with an accelerant, according to arrest warrants filed in the case.

On Jan. 6, Podewil is accused of throwing a firebomb from a University of South Carolina parking garage.

How Can Christian Conservatives Approve of These Morals?

Had the same thing been carried out by a worker for the now-defunct ACORN, Republicans and even Newt Gingrich would have called it massive “voter fraud.” But the 1,500 acts of fraud, by Gingrich’s own admission, were carried out by a worker hired by his campaign, so it seems the media have barely noticed it.

Nonetheless, The BRAD BLOG has received confirmation from two different state agencies that the 1,500 alleged cases of ballot petition fraud said to have been carried out on behalf of the Gingrich campaign, in their unsuccessful attempt to qualify for the Republican primary ballot in Virginia, are now being carried out by the state Attorney General’s office.

In late December, after Gingrich had failed to turn in enough valid signatures to qualify for the Virginia primary ballot, he was caught on video tape telling a supporter in Iowa that the reason for the failure was due to a campaign worker who created 1,500 fraudulent signatures.

“We turned in 11,100 we needed 10,000 1,500 of them were by one guy who, frankly, committed fraud,” Gingrich is seen and heard saying in video originally aired by CNN.

The former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives downplayed the incident, by explaining to the woman that the entire affair was “just a mistake,” after they had “hired somebody who turned in false signatures.”

Neither he nor his campaign, however, has made the name of the alleged “one guy” public, to our knowledge, despite the extraordinary number of fraudulent signatures created and turned in by that “one guy” in what an official at the Virginia State Board of Elections (SBE) described to us as “definitely an illegal act.”

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign again called on Congressman and presidential candidate Newt Gingrich to rectify the damage his campaign staff did when it injured and humiliated a Florida Ron Paul supporter at a voting precinct.

Yesterday members of the Gingrich team assaulted 29-year-old Ron Paul supporter Eddie Dillard in the Orlando suburb of Windermere, Florida.  Details of the appalling incident can be found here.

Mr. Dillard sought medical attention and X-Rays revealed that his foot was fractured.  He has been referred to an orthopedist and is currently in a walking boot.

Mr. Dillard has also been in touch with law enforcement and is filing criminal charges.

Today the Ron Paul campaign is calling on Congressman Gingrich to make good on the injuries Dillard sustained.

“Newt’s campaign staff broke Eddie Dillard’s foot, yet we still have not heard from Gingrich about how he plans to right the situation. Today, we are calling on Newt Gingrich to pay for Eddie’s medical bills.  In addition, we wish Eddie a full and speedy recovery,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

WINDERMERE, Fla.–Next time, Eddie Dillard won’t wear flip-flops.

Dillard, a 29-year-old Ron Paul supporter from this suburb near Orlando, arrived to vote at his precinct at Winderemere Baptist Church early Tuesday morning. Pulling into the parking lot, Dillard noticed a man outside the polling place with a Gingrich sign. He decided to run home, slip into his “Ron Paul Rocks America” T-shirt, grab a “Ron Paul 2012″ sign from his garage, and return to give his candidate some representation outside the precinct after he cast his vote.

Dillard found a quiet spot along a sidewalk lined with tiny American flags and held up his sign. Little did he know, Newt Gingrich had chosen that very spot to make his first Primary Day campaign stop.

When Gingrich’s bus pulled up, Dillard stood silently holding his sign and watched the news-media horde swamp the candidate. Gingrich stepped down from the bus and made a beeline for Dillard. He stopped in front of Dillard and his sign and parked himself for a round of handshaking and pictures with voters. The placement couldn’t have been worse. There was Gingrich, standing with his wife Callista at their first event of the day, and a giant Ron Paul sign floated inches from their crowns.

Noticing the awkward optics, Gingrich aides and security personnel swarmed Dillard, trying to intimidate him into moving. One of Gingrich’s security agents stepped in front of him. When Dillard didn’t budge, the agent lifted his heeled shoe over Dillard’s bare foot and dug the back of it into his skin, twisting it side-to-side like he was stomping out a cigarette. Shocked, Dillard kept his ground and took a picture of the agent with his phone, which was quickly knocked out of his hand. Dillard slipped off his flip-flop to pick up the phone with his foot, and a Gingrich supporter kicked the sandal away.

“Don’t kick me!” Dillard said to the man who knocked away his sandal. More members of Gingrich’s security retinue approached, shoving their shoulders and chests in front of him.

“Just block him!” a Gingrich campaign aide said. “Everyone step on his toes!”

Gingrich supporters handed a “Newt 2012″ yard sign up to the front to put in front of Dillard’s Paul sign. The two signs, zipping back and forth inches from Gingrich’s head, circled each other in the air like fighter jets in a dogfight.

When the candidate finished taking pictures with voters, furious Gingrich aides grilled Dillard.

“If we did this to you, you guys would be furious,” said an aide before stomping back toward the bus. “They have no class. No class.”

As Gingrich pulled away, Dillard looked down at his foot. With the adrenaline pumping, he hadn’t noticed the pain, but now it was starting to sink in. A bruise was forming, and there was a cut mark where the security agent had dug in his heel.

“That was really something,” Dillard said afterwards. “My heart’s racing. Not what I expected to happen today.”

The U.S. army has reportedly spent $50,000 to fund an atheist rock concert at Fort Bragg, and worse yet, the event contracts a headline band noted for their video “Hysteria” which features burning churches, bloody crosses, military cemeteries, and footage of bombing raids. The Blaze reports,

Why in the world would atheists be using a music video that celebrates the burning of churches and bloodied crosses to promote an upcoming music festival? While a viable answer to this question is hard to fathom, this is exactly what’s going on as non-believers prepare for “Rock Beyond Belief,” a massive Army-sponsored music festival occurring at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.

The event, slated for March 31, will feature various musical acts who celebrate the notion that there isn’t a God governing the universe. Additionally, there will be speakers, a rapper who promotes evolution and more. But it is one band called Aiden that is getting the most attention for its participation in the festival. The rock group has a song called “Hysteria.” On the “Rock Beyond Belief” web site the tune is dubbed an “atheist anthem.”

The corrupt elected traitors of the USA at all levels of government are in a suicidal dash to destruction. They are begging to be stopped before they steal again. In the ad, Gingrich’s unpopular missteps are cited as lobbying for Freddie Mac prior to the housing market collapse, and lobbying for the individual mandate before the passage of Obamacare.  Santorum’s transgressions against traditional Republican values are defined as increasing funding for Planned Parenthood, growing the national debt, and having a longstanding aversion to Right to Work.  Flip-flopper Romney, for his part, supported TARP bailouts and as left-moderate Massachusetts governor provided the blueprint for Obamacare. The ad sums up the views of Paul’s three rivals by terming their approach as follows: “Three men, one vision. More big government, more mandates, and less freedom.”

The spot then describes how Ron Paul is the candidate of authentic change and how he stands apart from the economically and socially destructive policies of his competitors. It then touts the 12-term Congressman from Texas’ record of voting against every tax increase and every unbalanced budget, every time. It reminds viewers that Paul is prolife and pro-Right to Work, two policy stances crucial to South Carolina Republican primary voters, and reiterates elements of the congressman’s path-breaking ‘Plan to Restore America.’

“At a time when Republican voters are looking for a true conservative to defeat Obama, this ad effectively makes the case that Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, and Mitt Romney do not measure up.  Ron Paul, in stark contrast, is presented as the one and only authentic conservative in the race,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.
“Ron Paul is the sole alternative to the fair-weather conservatives who grow government, increase mandates, betray the sanctity of life, destroy the patient-doctor relationship, and erode individual workers’ rights,” added Mr. Benton.

First, Congress considered the National Defense Authorization Act, sections of which gave the President the authority to use the military to arrest and indefinitely detain Americans without trial or charge. The language was revised because of strong condemnation from the American people. But now a new bill has emerged that poses yet another threat to the American citizenry.

Congress is considering HR 3166 and S. 1698 also known as the Enemy Expatriation Act, sponsored by Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Charles Dent (R-PA). This bill would give the US government the power to strip Americans of their citizenship without being convicted of being “hostile” against the United States. In other words, you can be stripped of your nationality for “engaging in, or purposefully and materially supporting, hostilities against the United States.” Legally, the term “hostilities” means any conflict subject to the laws of war but considering the fact that the War on Terror is a little ambiguous and encompassing, any action could be labeled as supporting terrorism.

The new law would change a part of US Code 1481 which can be read in full here.

Compare 3166 to 1481 and the change is small. The new section makes no reference to being convicted as it does in section (7). So even though the language of the NDAA has been revised to exclude American citizens, the US government merely has to strip Americans of their citizenship and the NDAA will apply. And they will be able to do so without convicting the accused in a court of law.

Sounds to me like this is a loophole for indefinitely detaining Americans. Once again, you just have to be accused of supporting hostilities which could be defined any way the government sees fit. Then the government can strip your citizenship and apply the indefinite detention section of the NDAA without the benefit of a trial. This certainly must be questioned by American citizens. The way many of our elected representatives  think, our rights are always in danger of being taken away.

It‘s the presidential debate question that America just can’t stop talking about. Regardless of where one stands on the appropriateness of CNN’s John King asking GOP candidate Newt Gingrich about his ex-wife’s “open marriage” claims at last week’s Southern debate, a new admission from the Gingrich campaign is noteworthy.

Now, following the candidate‘s insistance that ABC ignored individuals the campaign offered up to counter his ex’s story, the campaign is conceding that Gingrich’s claims — both in the original debate and during a follow-up interview — were, well, bologna.

On Tuesday, Gingrich and King faced off on CNN to discuss their uncomfortable debate exchange. As we reported, Gingrich, again, insisted that his campaign had offered up character witnesses who were willing to refute his ex-wife’s story, but that ABC News (the network that aired the bombshell interview with Marianne Gingrich) refused to interview them.

When King said that ABC claims they would have talked to these people, but that the campaign never brought them forward, Gingrich claimed this simply wasn’t true. “Oh, that is just plain bologna!,” he responded.

But on Wednesday, the Gingrich campaign finally conceded that the claims that they brought sympathetic pro-Gingrich interview subjects to ABC‘s attention and that the network declined to interview them simply aren’t true — at least not in the framework through which the claims were originally presented.

I just hope this time it does cause a catastrophic event as big as the last time he refused to “do something” because the fact is BILL GORE was the only chance we had to stop 911 according to all the experts that investigated 911 and made the 911 Commission Report but I guess as the San Diego FBI Duty Agents like to sum it up WE WERE JUST OUT OF LUCK!!

A man who spent two years in solitary confinement after getting arrested for DWI was awarded $22 million for suffering inhumane treatment in New Mexico’s Dona Ana County Jail.

Stephen Slevin was arrested in August of 2005 for driving while intoxicated, according to NBC station KOB.com. He said he never got a trial and spent the entire time languishing in solitary, even pulling his own tooth when he was denied dental care.

“‘[Prison officials were] walking by me every day, watching me deteriorate,” he said. “Day after day after day, they did nothing, nothing at all, to get me any help.”

Slevin said he made countless requests to see a doctor to get medication for his depression, but wasn’t allowed to see one until only a few weeks before his release. He also never got to see a judge.

The $22 million settlement, awarded by a federal jury on Tuesday, is one of the largest prisoner civil rights settlements in U.S. history, according to KOB.com.

The U.S. District Attorney’s office says Muhtorov was arrested on Saturday at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport by Denver FBI agents and Chicago Joint Terrorism Task Force members.

Just after Muhtorov’s arrest in Chicago, federal agents descended on his apartment complex at East Jewell Ave and South Dayton Street in Aurora.

Agents searched apartment 9-D for evidence. Neighbors say hardly anyone went inside Muhtorov’s apartment. The FBI says he was on his computer and cell phone talking to a terror group and expressing his willingness and desire to carry out an attack.

Muhtorov is facing charges of attempting to provide material and providing material to a foreign terrorist organization, according to John Walsh, the U.S. District Attorney for Colorado.

Newt Gingrich offered his second wife a choice of an open marriage or a divorce when he revealed to her he was having an affair with the woman he later made his third wife, Marianne Gingrich said in interviews with ABC News and The Washington Post.

A day after he told his wife about his affair with Callista Bisek in May 1999, the former House speaker delivered a speech titled “The Demise of American Culture” to a group of Republican women in Pennsylvania, The Washington Post reported Thursday.

“How could he ask me for a divorce on Monday and within 48 hours give a speech on family values and talk about how people treat people?” Marianne Gingrich said in her interview with the Post.

Her revelations echo what she told a reporter for an article published in Esquire magazine in August 2010, but it is the first time Marianne Gingrich has talked about it on camera.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Monday unanimously ruled that the police violated the Constitution when they placed a Global Positioning System tracking device on a suspect’s car and tracked its movements for 28 days.

But the justices divided 5-to-4 on the rationale for the decision, with the majority saying that the problem was the placement of the device on private property. That ruling avoided many difficult questions, including how to treat information gathered from devices installed by the manufacturer and how to treat information held by third parties like cellphone companies.

On the list of stupid things the Transportation Security Administration could do for their public image: detaining Senator Rand Paul, the politician most anxious to abolish them is probably right near the top.

But that’s exactly what happened, his spokeswoman, Moira Bagley, @moirabagley, tweeted around 10 a.m., ET, “Just got a call from @senrandpaul. He’s currently being detained by TSA in Nashville.” There is currently no information on why the Senator was detained, or why he is considered a threat to fly.

But I think we can safely say that the liberty0loving Senator is likely to be a threat to the TSA from now on.

A TSA spokesman said the agency was looking into the matter but could not immediately comment.

Paul apparently set off an airport security full-body scanner “on a glitch,” a spokesman in Paul’s office told ABC News. The Paul staffer said TSA agents would not let Paul walk back through the body scanner and were demanding a full body pat-down.

The Paul spokesman said his office called TSA administrator John Pistole about the incident this morning. The Senate is back in session today at 2 p.m., with votes scheduled at 4:30 p.m. The issue of pat-downs has been an important one to Paul, the son of libertarian-leaning Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. Sen. Paul brought this issue up at a hearing earlier this year.

Which pill do you choose? The red pill? Or the blue pill? The color blue on the shirts of South Florida Romney “supporters” may correlate with the pill they chose to take, as was evident with one individual who, on camera, stated he was paid to wear the Romney shirt and create the impression at the voting location that there was significant support there.

The video below clearly shows a Romney supporter claiming that he was registered with the government as unemployed, and at some point was given the offer to become active for the “cause”.

This is exactly why libertarians and Ron Paul supporters are so quick to decry the media, the GOP, and the elitist establishment. This is only another smidgen of truth that proves the way in which the masses are massively deceived through media manipulation, psy-ops, and other sly tactics.

Ignorance is bliss. It must be easy for the average American, who is an unknowing slave to a fascist system of servitude, to dwell in a state of ignorance, vulnerable to being steered directly into the voting booth by these tactics.

For those who have stepped boldly into the unknown, for those who have taken the red pill, we are only motivated more by these staggering propaganda gimmicks. The level of deceit, in light of our grasp on the fuller reality, is the spark that lights the fire of liberty in our eyes, hearts, and minds.

Keep up the fight. We will not let Goldman Sachs elect the next nominee of the Republican Party.
On camera, a Romney “supporter” at an early voting location says he was paid by the South Florida Romney campaign effort to wear a shirt and maintain a presence. Having a handful of Romney supporters at the site likely helped make the impression on potential voters who lack the capacity to think for themselves that they, because of Romney’s large “support”, they should vote for him.

I watched the day-after-primary coverage in South Carolina yesterday and have come to the conclusion that there are some people out there who are absolutely mentally inept to the point that their right to vote represents a danger to the rest of us. CNN put forth a parade of these mentally challenged citizens. I heard one fellow say, “It doesn’t matter if we fix our economy if we are not following God.”

I’ll tell you what you mush minded dead headed morons, we know who you are and I know what your problem is. You are the same people that made a multi-millionaire out of Jim Baker, and even after you found out he was keeping a bunch of whores on your money, you still supported him. Why?  Because you could not admit that you were so stupid. You are so easily conned that Satan himself could come down to Earth and tell you he is born again and you would vote for him for God.

For fifty years the rest of us have been living with your pathetic stupidity, and the mainstream propagandists love you just for existing. It’s the old tight angle camera shot. Get a small group of stupid people together, take a tight angle photo, and declare the whole state stupid.
