The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

In Cotati, California police officers showed up at the doorstep of one family after they were reportedly called because of an alleged domestic violence dispute, much to the surprise of the homeowners.

As Cotati PD massed on the couple’s front lawn, the homeowner began documenting the incident.

Law enforcement officers indicated they would be entering the home because of “domestic violence,” at which point both homeowners responded by advising them that:

They had merely had an argument and no domestic violence had taken place.

Baffled that the residents of the home refused to exit, one officer asked why they wouldn’t respond to their order.

The homeowner, who had previously cited his fourth Amendment right to be safe and secure on his property unless a warrant had been presented by officials, responds with what undoubtedly left police bewildered.

“Because we don’t live in a police state, sir.

Martial law has not been established in this country. “

What happens next is textbook jackbooted police state behavior, as cops kick in the family’s door unlawfully, without cause, and without a warrant.

Police reportedly justified their actions based on concerns over the welfare and safety of the children living at the home:

Many have speculated as to why the police felt they needed to unlawfully enter the home, with some claiming they could have felt the children lives were in danger yet the fact of the matter is the children were clearly fine and, if anything, would be psychologically and possibly even physically hurt by police breaking down their door and attacking their parents.

Who is the victim in this case? It’s not the children, who were peacefully playing in the front yard and in the home. And neither homeowner had raised a hand to the other.

In fact, the victims were the residents of the home, whose private property had been violated.

The individual recording the video was reportedly tazed, detained and then arrested by police.

For what?

That answer remains unclear.

Based on the video documentation, the only ones who should be going to jail are the police officers who found it necessary to break in the door of a law abiding American for refusing to submit to an unlawful order.

There is only one course of action that needs to be taken at this point and that’s

ARMED RESISTANCE  against any and all those who believe it’s totally within their job scope to violate the rights of any American citizen going about their business in their homes. If the homeowner had chosen to kill these cops it would have been justified. How much more of this sickness must men and women of honor have to endure before we hurl these scum into oblivion. If we are not ready to use our 2nd amendment to defend our other rights, then we might as well surrender our firearms to Obama today and make him KING for life.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran is a founding member of the United Nations,”

GENEVA, May 13, 2013 – Iran will chair the United Nations’ most important disarmament negotiating forum during the panel’s May session, which opened today, sparking calls by an independent monitoring group for the U.S., the EU, and UN chief Ban Ki-moon to protest. Click here for UN website.

“This is like putting Jack the Ripper in charge of a women’s shelter,”

said Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch, the Geneva based non-governmental organization, which announced it will hold protest events outside the UN hall featuring Iranian dissidents.

“Iran is an international outlaw state that illegally supplies rockets to Syria, Hezbollah, and Hamas, aiding and abetting mass murder and terrorism.

To make this rogue regime head of world arms control is simply an outrage. Abusers of international norms should not be the public face of the UN.”

U.N. officials say Iran’s post is merely the result of an automatic rotation.

But UN Watch rejected attempts to downplay what it described as “a fundamental conflict of interests” and “an act certain to be exploited by Iranian propaganda to legitimize the mullahs’ cruel regime.”

“UN Watch calls on U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice, EU High Commissioner Catherine Ashton, and UN chief Ban Ki-moon to make clear that when the United Nations imposes four rounds of sanctions on Iran for illicit nuclear activities, condemns it for illegally arming the murderous Syrian regime, and denounces Tehran’s massive abuse of human rights, this kind of appointment just defies common sense and harms the UN’s credibility,” said Neuer.

“Any member state that is the subject of UN Security Council sanctions for proliferation—and found guilty of massive human rights violations—should be ineligible to hold a leadership position in a UN body. The U.S. and Canada have asserted this principle in the past, and should do so again,” said Neuer.

“We urge world leaders to declare that allowing Iran to chair a UN disarmament body is simply unacceptable, given the fundamentalist regime’s illicit activities in precisely the opposite direction,” said Neuer.

“The U.S., the EU, and other nations should call on Iran to pass the chair on to a credible country that will advance the disarmament agenda within the UN,” said Neuer.

The Conference of Disarmament reports to the UN General Assembly and is billed by the UN as “the single multilateral disarmament negotiating forum of the international community.”

Iran will assume the presidency of the Conference on Disarmament on May 27 and hold it over four weeks, until June 23.

The conference chair helps organize the work of the conference and assists in setting the agenda.

The May 13 – June 28 conference will be the 35th anniversary session since the conference was established in 1979 after a special U.N. General Assembly session.

The conference is made up of 65 countries who have been divided in recent years on key issues.

The conference and its predecessors have negotiated such major multilateral arms limitation and disarmament agreements as:

• Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons

• Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Any Other Hostile Use of Environmental Modification Techniques

• Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on their Destruction

• Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on Their Destruction

• Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty

Last Thursday I wrote an opinion piece on the Armed March Protest in Washington, D.C. that is to be led by former New Mexico candidate and Iraq War veteran Adam Kokesh. While I agreed with the sentiment behind the march, there are a plethora of reasons for not engaging in his particular protest. I merely touched on a few obvious ones. However, the more that one begins to look into Mr. Kokesh’s background, the more one begins to question the real intentions and motives he has.

Charles C. Johnson writes at the Daily Caller:

Despite his self-proclaimed history of mental instability and post-traumatic stress, one-time congressional candidate and perennial activist Adam Kokesh is organizing a pro-gun rally in which marchers will walk with loaded rifles into Washington from Virginia.

…

Kokesh, who served as a Marine NCO and reservist, attended Claremont McKenna College. His 2005 psychology thesis, “Hot, Dirty, and Dangerous: Seven Months of Civil and Not-So-Civil Affairs In And Around Fallujah” discusses suffering from post-traumatic stress. “I had a number of anxiety attacks those first few days back [from Iraq],” Kokesh wrote.

Kokesh was particularly disturbed by crowds, something which may prove problematic with the armed crowds at the forthcoming march. “I didn’t feel comfortable getting drunk, and the crowds made me nervous. When dealing with crowds in Iraq, I was always armed and I always had someone watching my back, usually with a machine gun. A cardinal rule for interacting with crowds was to never let anyone get behind you,” Kokesh wrote. “We had all heard the horror story of a Marine who was killed with his own pistol. When crowds got close around me I would often just leave one hand on my pistol and let my rifle dangle on the sling in front of me.”

That’s not all though, once he left the service, Kokesh attended college and he wrote,

“Every time someone bumped into me from behind at a party I instinctively reached down for my pistol and had a moment of awkward panic before realizing that I was being absurd. I had developed such a strong habit of waking up two or three minutes before my alarm that I often woke up thinking I had to be somewhere. I was so used to being on guard when in public that it was hard to truly relax at first.”

He also became agitated when he was not allowed to bring his firearm on campus, saying that he was a veteran and had fought for the right to do so.

Now understand, this is not a shot at those who have served our country honorably and suffer from PTSD. In fact, I don’t blame Kokesh for his instinctive responses regarding how he reacts to things, which he said was absurd. I have met many men who have been in war who have similar reactions. I have been very vocal in saying that we should not be calling for the Federal government to start disarming our veterans because they have PTSD, nor do I think it the place of the Federal government to make mental health evaluations and disarm citizens.

However, it is noteworthy to understand the mental state of one leading an armed march on Washington, which he claims will be peaceful. In fact, in my article Kokesh is on video and audio stating,

“This is an armed revolt against the American government…. Make no mistake about it…. We are going with the aim of overthrowing the government.”

It’s also noteworthy that in the video, even Alex Jones, who talks a tough game when it comes to government and tyranny, looks a bit hesitant about Kokesh’s march.

The Muslim American Society that the group IVAW supports which Adam Kokesh is a spokesman for has said:

 Jihad is a “divine legal right” of Muslims to be used for the spread of Islam.

Kokesh, along with several Muslims, also attempted to fake a hate crime in 2007 at George Washington University, which you can read about it here.

Kokesh was also at the 2007 Gathering of Eagles, which was an event to honor the memory of veterans who died in Vietnam. He endorsed anti-war protest organizations that were calling for the desecration of the Vietnam Memorial by vandalizing  the memorial with spray paint and water balloons filled with urine.

The host of Freedom Fighter Radio attended the event to support the veterans and knew of the protest organizers’ plans and was prepared to defend the memorial.

He witnessed the DC police confiscating spray paint from the backpacks of protesters, who were attempting to smuggle the paint in. This protest was also supported by Hamas and Hezbollah.

Michelle Malkin, who was also at GOE, recalls:

Before there was a nationwide, grass-roots Tea Party movement, there was another nationwide, grass-roots movement that brought thousands of Americans to Washington, D.C. They called themselves the “Gathering of Eagles.” I covered two massive, GoE rallies against the Soros-funded, anti-war Left inMarch 2007 and September 2007. GOE activists continue to expose the transnational progressives, anti-military bullies, and phonies who operate under the “peace” banner.

One of the groups that GOE dogged was Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) — whose members have included bomb-threat bullies and death-threat nutballs who threatened to assassinate me, fake Army vet Jesse MacBeth, and another prominent member who smeared the Young America’s Foundation by faking an anti-Muslim hate flyer and smeared David Horowitz with similar race-card playing flyers, then weaseled out of the attacks by claiming they were “satire.”

The last two incidents involved an IVAW member named Adam Kokesh. He marched in uniform in mock patrols for the anti-war movement, paraded around holding an upside-down American flag (see Jonn Lilyea for more), was arrested for defacing signs, and traveled to Germany to urge soldiers to abandon their posts and seek aid and comfort with his anti-war minions.

Before I give you the next bit of information, understand that this is not directed at the members of the organization cited, but is simply providing you with information that you can verify yourself about the leaders of the organization.

The leaders and staff of Oathkeepers have given strong support to Mr. Kokesh. Why is this important you might ask?

Consider the following. Kokesh is not only a member of Iraq Veterans Against The War (IVAW), but he is a spokesman for them. The IVAW is allied with members of the Muslim American Society (MAS).

What is the Muslim American Society?

According to Steven Emerson, director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism, the Muslim American Society is a “de facto arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S.,” whose agenda is to impose Islamic law in America and to undermine our counter-terrorism policies.

According to the Chicago Tribune,

An undated internal memo instructed MAS leaders on how to deal with inquiries about the new organization. If asked, “Are you the Muslim Brothers?” leaders should respond that they are an independent group called the Muslim American Society. “It is a self-explanatory name that does not need further explanation.”

And if the topic of terrorism were raised, leaders were told to say that they were against terrorism but that jihad was among a Muslim’s “divine legal rights” to be used to defend himself and his people and to spread Islam.

But MAS leaders say those documents and others obtained by the Tribune are either outdated or do not accurately reflect the views of the group’s leaders.

MAS describes itself as a “charitable, religious, social, cultural and educational not-for-profit organization.” It has headquarters in Alexandria, Va., and 53 chapters nationwide, including one in Bridgeview, across the street from the mosque there.

Shaker Elsayed, a top MAS official, says the organization was founded by Brotherhood members but has evolved to include Muslims from various backgrounds and ideologies.

Now friends, if you have followed our site for any length of time, you know we do believe that Islam itself is a tremendous threat to America. This makes this information even more pertinent.

However IVAW not only works with the Muslim American Society, but has endorsed and participated in protests alongside anti-Israel organizations such as the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition and Al-Awda: The Palestine Right to Return Coalition.

A.N.S.W.E.R. works closely with the Muslim American Society on several campaigns. The movement is well-financed. Its sponsor list is lengthy and contains highly recognizable names, as well as those of Fonda and Sheehan:

Though honorably discharged from the Marines, he continued to use a former rank of sergeant, before his DD214 was made public. Following that revelation, he dropped the rank. When Kokesh was in the Marines, he did achieve the rank of sergeant, but was demoted to corporal.

Retired United States Navy SEAL Captain Larry Bailey and Vietnam veteran wrote a scathing letter regarding Mr. Kokesh. In it he writes:

Adam Kokesh, candidate for the Republican nomination for the US House of Representatives from the Third District of New Mexico, is doing his best to deceive the electorate. He portrays himself as a libertarian conservative, but he is neither libertarian nor conservative (unless he reinvents himself again). Most egregiously, he is attempting to portray himself as a patriotic anti-war/anti-military veteran in a manner reminiscent of John Kerry and Vietnam Veterans against the War (VVAW), in which Kerry tarnished the valor of his brothers-in-arms in order to advance his political career.

Adam Kokesh probably wishes that he had not been so open about his disloyalty, because he is now pretending to be a patriotic, libertarian-leaning, conservative Republican in his congressional campaign. Sorry, Adam; that just won’t wash. You have shown your true colors, and America-loving patriots just won’t let you get away with your masquerade.

Go ahead and renew your ties with the Code Pink/Winter Soldier/George Soros/IVAW crowd. Take off that suit and tie, and let your hair grow long in a John Kerry-look alike manner. Be what you want to be, as long as it’s not pretending to be an American patriot.

Finally, friends if someone is going to come out in open provocation in the manner that Kokesh is, all parties involved should be aware of just who they are dealing with. In the same manner that you cannot trust what a lot of people say, you look at what they do, a man would be wise to consider just who he is joining with in an alleged march for freedom.

The Muslim American Society that the group IVAW supports which Adam Kokesh is a spokesman for has said:

 Jihad is a “divine legal right” of Muslims to be used for the spread of Islam.

The controversial ex-military veteran who has staged anti-war protests in the past, along with his Internet show, Adam vs. The Man, who plans to hold an armed march on Washington, D.C. on July 4, 2013 posted on his Facebook page today that he has received a lengthy letter of support from unknown Egyptians and Arabs.

The Facebook page called, Ana Masry: Egypt is in Danger, which appear to be supporters of former Egyptian President Hosni El Sayed Mubarak stated that they support his protest but the letter also warned President Obama if Kokesh or any of the supporters in the march are harmed or arrested.

In the letter it said,

“We all support you in your Holy Revolution against Satanic and Masonic Elite of USA, UK , EU and Israel! We warn Obama that his Satanic administration will collapse immediately all over the world if he dare arrest or kill Adam Kokesh or his innocent , non-violent activists!”

Congresswoman and former United States Ambassador to Luxembourg Ann Wagner (R-MO) appeared on The Dana Loesch show and placed the blame, of the stand down order to those that could have offered assistance to Americans under attack, on none other than Barack Obama.

Loesch asked Wagner,

“Because you have been an ambassador, you have been overseas with similar responsibilities and similar missions – who gives such an order to stand down? Where does that come from?”

The Missouri congresswoman affirmed.

“The President of the United States,”

As top diplomat in Libya Gregory Hicks testified to on Wednesday before the House Oversight Committee, “The Libyans that I talked to, and the Libyans and other Americans who were involved in the war have told me also, that Libyan revolutionaries were very cognizant of the impact that American and NATO airpower had with respect to their victory.”

“They are under no illusions that American and NATO airpower won that war for them,” Hicks continued. “And so, in my personal opinion, a fast mover flying over Benghazi at some point, you know, as soon as possible might very well have prevented some of the bad things that happened that night.”

He went on to add,

“if we had been able to scramble a fighter or aircraft or two over Benghazi as quickly as possible after the attack commenced” — around 9:30 that night — “I believe there would not have been a mortar attack on the annex in the morning because I believe the Libyans would have split. They would have been scared to death that we would have gotten a laser on them and killed them.”

In fact, Hicks suggested that the Libyans would have granted the US permission to fly their planes directly over their airspace.

“If we had been able to scramble a fighter or aircraft or two over Benghazi as quickly as possible after the attack commenced. I believe there would not have been a mortar attack on the annex in the morning because I believe the Libyans would have split. They would have been scared to death that we would have gotten a laser on them and killed them.”

Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) said

that personnel “may not have arrived in time to save lives, but at the time the decision was made, the decision was wrong.”

Representative Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), a member of the committee also said

that “military personnel were ready willing and able, and within proximity, but the Pentagon told them they had no authority and to stand down.”

I wrote back at the end of October of the reports coming out that there were calls for “military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights.”

We know from testimony this week that Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s statement that “The U.S. military did not get involved during the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, last month because officials did not have enough information about what was going on before the attack was over” was not true. They did know. They knew in real time. There was no way they would not have known, but Panetta testified that Obama was simply absent on the night of the Benghazi attacks. In fact, the White House received several emails indicating what was going on and yet Obama would not authorize any help.

While Chris Stevens was appointed as a diplomat to Libya in 2007 under President George W. Bush, he was named ambassador under Barack Obama.

Now stop and think about that for a moment. If Obama will just let one of his appointees, a U.S. ambassador, die at the hands of Islamists,

how much do you think he cares about American citizens? I’m guessing not too much.

Over and over, this comes back to one person, Barack Hussein Obama. He is the one that over and over in his first days in office had to beat the drum that he was the “Commander-in-chief” and don’t you people forget it! Well, I say Mr. Obama needs to own up to his dereliction of duty, which resulted in the deaths of four Americans.

Of course there was backlash. Democrat National Committee Communications Director Brad Woodhouse reacted to the news of Stockman’s generosity by blasting him via Twitter.

He and others berated Stockman over pushing the same weapon that was used in the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut back in December. I suppose if it were a DPMS or a Colt Ar-15 everything would be OK for liberals. Probably not, but they do like to pour on the guilty emotions, don’t they?

Some followers though took up for Stockman.

Well, you will have to go through a Federal Firearms License holder if you win. So yeah, you will have to have a background check. Someone please inform Barack Obama, Joe Biden and John Stewart that those things do take place when you purchase a gun at any FFL dealer.

For weeks we’ve been hearing about an armed march on the Capitol of the United States. Washington, D.C. is supposed to be the target of a “peaceful” protest with people marching with their loaded firearms. While I agree with the sentiment, let me just come right out and say this as simple and as blunt as I can say it: This is a very, very, very, very, very bad idea. It’s also stupid. Let me explain.

First Adam Kokesh, 31, is the man who began promoting the event. You can read a bit more about Kokesh and some of his ties here. While there are things I agree with him on, there is much I disagree with him about. He talks about nonviolence and I don’t have any reason to not believe him in that regard, but he has no way of ensuring that violence will not erupt, especially when you consider that there are many, not all, in his audience that are clearly fringe anarchists. However, consider what is to take place and the ramifications of it.

First, Kokesh remarks in an update to the event, scheduled for July 4, 2013:

Now that it’s undeniable that this is going to happen, allow me to make clear how. There will be coordination with DC law enforcement prior to the event. I will recommend that they do the best they can to honor their oaths and escort us on our route. Failing to provide that commitment to safety, we will either be informed that we will only be allowed up to a certain point where we would be arrested. If this is the case, we will approach that point as a group and if necessary, I will procede (sic) to volunteer myself to determine what their actual course of action with someone crossing the line will be at which point fellow marchers will have the choice of joining me one at a time in a peaceful, orderly manner, or turning back to the National Cemetery.

OK, obviously he has not cleared things with DC law enforcement yet. I can tell you they will not allow an armed protest. It just isn’t going to happen. Second, understand that when you go there, you will not only be arrested, but your firearm will be taken, you will be put in jail, you will be charged with a misdemeanor and since it is DC, following this, you will more than likely be unable to purchase a firearm legally again.

I have spoken with the DC police. They will not discuss their tactics for dealing with those coming, but they are aware of the protest.

Chief Cathy L. Lanier has stated

that they will arrest armed protesters.

That is not a probability. It is what they will do.

Kokesh says that if he gets 10,000 people on his Facebook event page to sign up by June 1, then he believes they can pull it off. He says he will march with just 1,000 actual attendees. Frankly I would genuinely be surprised if he gets 500 people.

Don’t get me wrong here, I completely agree with the sentiments of Kokesh that the Federal government has become tyrannical. I completely agree, as I told the DC press spokesman over the phone, that gun laws in DC are unconstitutional. They violate the Second Amendment. However, what good is a protest if you never get to make it?

If you go knowing that you will be arrested, your firearm taken, and you are thrown in jail and fined, then have to face more travel charges to return to DC, what have you accomplished?

Oh that’s right, you stood up to “The Man,” right? Good for you.

In all reality, you accomplished nothing except to put yourself back a step.

My friends protests are meant to give voice against the opposition. What this event will do will simply silence those who go. It will accomplish nothing.

Our Founders protested the right way. Then when the tyrants came for their weapons, they stood their ground and faced their enemies, not peacefully, but with violence! Friends, the Scriptures teach us that we should seek to be at peace with all men. However, there comes a time when violence is the response, but that is a defensive posture, not a pre-emptive one. DC will take an armed march, no matter how peaceful you proclaim it, as a violent act of breaking the law (no matter how unlawful that law is).

That’s just the way it is and who will you actually be helping by going? I’ll tell you. You’ll be helping to fund the DC police department, the court system there and various petroleum providers, hotels and others as you will more than likely have to make a return trip back to Washington to appeal your case. Either that, or you’ll help fund attorneys in DC to go on your behalf.

My advice about not going has nothing to do with being a coward. It has to do with being wise. Wise men don’t go on a pilgrimage of this sort knowing they will never be able to accomplish what they set out to do. That is what I call being foolish!

Here’s the thing though, for most people that talk a good game about armed marches on DC and how they would use their guns to repel tyranny, most of them can’t bring themselves to vote outside a two party system or they simply vote for the “lesser of two evils.” Friends, stop electing tyrannical representatives and men with no character and we will see peaceful revolution. We’ve been doing it the opposite way for years and we continue down the road of Socialism, not freedom.

At least a dozen former members of domestic terrorist organizations are college professors, a guest blog on The Other McCain reports.

The report comes on the heels of news that Kathy Boudin, the former American terrorist, is now a professor at Columbia and NYU. Boudin was convicted in a robbery that left two police officers dead in 1981.

Apparently,

she is not the only former domestic terrorist who now calls the Ivory Tower home:

“Members of the Weather Underground make up half of this list; some are well known, like Bill Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn, Ayers is now retired from the University of Illinois, while Dohrn is still teaching at Northwestern Law,” writes Ryan James Girdusky in a guest blog post Wednesday about the dozen or so former members of domestic terrorist organizations who are now college professors.

“Other lesser-known members of the group include Howard Machtinger, who was charged with conspiring to bomb the Detroit Police Officers Association Building and was on the run from the law for five years from 1973 to 1978. Machtinger now works for the School of Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.”

“Another Weatherman alumni, Mark Naison, has been a professor at Fordham University for 43 years. Eleanor Raskin was also involved in the 1968 Columbia University occupation … She began to teach at the State University of New York in Albany and then later at Albany Law School ”

”Weatherman, Mark Rudd, former spokesman for students in the Columbia student revolt of 1969 …  is now retired but spent a long career as a math instructor at the Central New Mexico Community College.”
